"Skypaw!" Rosepaw scampered up to her. "What happened?" Skypaw hung her head. "Nothing good," She mumbled. Rosepaw tilted her head. "What happened?" She repeated. Skypaw sighed and told her about what Barkstar had said, and what a disaster it made. "That's not right!" Rosepaw gasped. Skypaw nodded glumly. Skypaw padded up to Snowpaw. "Hi," Skypaw mewed politely. Snowpaw grunted. "Now you are acting like you hate me!" Skypaw hissed, bristling. Snowpaw stared into her eyes. "I'm not acting." He growled. Skypaw backed away in surprise. "What'd I ever do to you?" Skypaw hissed loudly. The Clan stood watching. Snowpaw looked around; embarrassed. "Sorry Skypaw, but I'm tired so I'm going to sleep," He mewed. "No!" Skypaw yowled at him. "I don't want to lose you because of a stupid dream I had! You are my brother and that's all I have left!" Skypaw sobbed and flopped to the ground. "Skypaw?" Twigstar's sweet scent wreathed around her. Skypaw didn't answer. She felt herself being lifted by the scruff. She didn't argue. The thing she needed right then was a mother. And Twigstar was just that.

Twigstar set Skypaw down in her den. "I demand to know what is going on!" Her leader hissed. Skypaw looked up. "I had a dream," Skypaw told her about the dream she had. Twigstar looked on, sorrowful. "Oh Skypaw, I'm sorry that happened to you," She mewed. Skypaw nodded and laid her head on her paws. "I need him," Skypaw grumbled. "Snowpaw's all I have right now," Twigstar padded closer to Skypaw. "You have me," The brown tabby mewed warmly. Skypaw nodded. "Your right,

I do have you," She agreed. "And that's amazing how you do these things for me and treat me like your daughter." There was a flash of pain in Twigstar's eyes. "What?" Skypaw mewed. Twigstar sighed and turned away. "It's nothing," She mewed. Skypaw sighed and sat up. "It's time you'd get to bed," Twigstar mewed quietly as she turned around. Skypaw nodded and headed out of the den. "Wait," Twigstar mewed. "You'd better sleep in here." Skypaw tipped her head. "Well..." She sighed. "Sure I guess." And she turned around and settled in the sandy den.

"Skypaw, go and train." Skypaw blinked open her eyes. She scrambled to her paws. Longear was poking her with a paw. "Okay," Skypaw mewed. She followed the russet warrior put of the leader's den. As Skypaw rose into the sunlight, everyone turned they're heads towards her. Sympathy flashed in everyone's eyes. Skypaw hung her head and leaped off the ledge.
