I have finally graduated from high school. I received my high school diploma. I am going to enroll in college for the accounting degree. I knew that it would not take long for me to finish. Since I was like a math freak. I was called that a lot in school. But it was true. I loved math.

It was now July and I am going to my classes. I am doing very well. I told mark and he was happy about it.

He was still over sea's but he would call once a month to talk to me. He would write me all the time. We are both hoping that he would be able to come home for a visit soon.

It is Aug 22. Rebecca has had her baby. It's a girl. She has black hair and has grey eyes. They say all babies have that color when they are born. She has all her fingers and toes and is very healthy. She weighed seven ponds and eight ounces and was twenty inches long. Rebecca is doing fine and is happy to finally have the baby. She was getting grumpy at the end. I guess all women go through that when they have a baby.

Three days later I took her home from the hospital. Rebecca asked me to be little Kay' lee's godmother. Which I agreed to. I was already attached to Kay' lee. I went out and bought some toys and clothes for my goddaughter.

I was working at a small firm on a trial base's. So far I was doing good. I was still working on my degree.

The months passed by quickly for me now. Rebecca was back at work and I would watch Kay' lee for her when I was not in school. I only worked a few days a week and most of the time. I would bring it home to do. Ross accounting was owned by a married couple. They said after I finished my degree they would hire me on.

Christmas was around the corner and Mark was going to be coming home for two whole weeks. I didn't have a clue as to what I would get him for Christmas. But being able to see him was going to be my gift.

I was going home for two weeks. I haven't been home in eight months. I never really minded if or when I came home but now I wanted to see Carla. We were only together for a short time. But I wanted to be with her. It was actually nice to have some one waiting for you at home.

I pulled up into the backyard and headed for the front door. Walking inside I could tell that she was not here. She would be here soon. So I sat down to wait for her.

I left Rebecca's house. I had Kay' lee with me most of the day and I was dropping her off. Mark was due home any day now and I wanted to be there when he came home. I stopped off at the grocery store after I left Rebecca's house to pick up a few things.

I pulled up to the house Happy to be back home. I went to the back of the truck to get out the grocery's. I never noticed someone standing on the porch. At least not until I looked up.

It was Mark. I dropped what I had picked up and took off running. Running up to the porch and into his arms. He picked me up and swung me around. Looking into his blue eyes I knew he was happy to be home. I leaned in and kissed him and he quickly responded to my kiss. He still held me in his arms and when I kissed him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist hanging on to him as we kissed. After a few minutes we broke the kiss.

" I like the way you great me home, Carla baby."

" I told you that I missed you mark."

" I can tell and I missed you to." I placed my feet back on the ground.
