Knowing him was loving him
Loving him was feeling something new
Like crossing paths I never knew
The moment I fell in love with him
A love for myself was finally redeemed
In his eyes is where I see things through
His spoken words was all genuine and true
But I was blinded by light while walking in dim
All I heard was lullabies playing on repeat
He took down my wall, I built him a door
In my swelling holes was where he belong
But his compliments didn't made me complete
And the love I thought I never had before
Was just lying within my soul all along.
