Emil sat outside resting in the moss and Ivy that grew on the cottage walls. It was nice to take a minute to breath and relax. He was just about to head back in when he heard the crumbling of earth and the harsh sound of horses. When he saw a carriage coming around the path he quickly rushed inside out of sight.

"Leon!" He called. "There's a carriage."

The mysterious Leon came around the corner swiftly, his face still as calm as ever.

"Go to Tino, if you hear anything suspicious hide in the back, if you hear people's voice and not mine get out the door and into the woods alright?"

Emil nodded quickly and rushed into the room where he saw Tino sitting up and trying to move out of the bed.

"No, it's okay stay, we'll wait first and move when we absolutely need to."

the two sat in silence listening closely to the sounds outside. Emil moved to the window and tried to listen in on what was going on. He heard the carriage stop and Leon's voice greeting the man. It was hard to make out but Leon seemed to be playing the new comer. The voice hesitated then went on. Leon's voice sounded grateful then the carriages wheels began to crunch the earth once again. Emil watched the curtain carefully but only was startled by Leon's voice.

"Emi, get out here."

The young boy opened the curtain to see the chinamen still in one piece but holding a letter with a royal seal.

"Guy says it's for you." Leon held it out.

Emil took the letter and examined it. "Oh not me." He said looking at the seal. "This is Berwald's seal, it's for Tino."

Leon followed the icelandic boy back into Tino's bedroom where the boy had gotten back under the sheets and was waiting patiently.

"What's going on?" He worried.

"Nothing bad." Emil promised. "But there is a letter here for you."

"For me?" Tino asked holding his hands out."

Emil handed Tino the letter and watched as the small finnish boy broke the seal and pulled out a simple white letter.

"Should I read it out?" He asked.

"If you want to." Emi shrugged.

Tino nodded and he started to read. "Dear Tino and Emil. Lukas and Mikkel are alright. The coronation was able to come to a close with no further attack. However until Tino is well We have decided to leave you two there. We find it is much too dangerous at the castle or anywhere you may get found. You will be safe with Leon until we can devise a good plan. Please sleep and eat a lot, take care of yourself and each other. Also thank Leon for us, we will send another letter when we are ready to come get you. Love Mikkel, Lukas and Berwald."

"What? They are just going to leave us here?" Emil whined.

"Sounds good to me." Leon decided.

"I... guess we don't have much of a choice." Tino smiled.

Leon stood up and looked over the two new roommates. "Well I'm hungry, Wanna help me make some dinner?" He said to Emil.

"Do I have a choice."

"No."

"Then I'd love to."
