It was a special day at Jade Mountain Academy. Queen Glory of the RainWings was coming for a visit. Tsunami was both nervous and excited. The latter because she had not seen her friend in a long while, and the first reason because Glory was very perceptive, and if she stayed too long would probably  manage to sniff out her secret. Finally, a conch horn blew, and Tsunami knew that her friend has arrived.

"Greetings, Glory!" she said as she approached her friend. Glory's gaurd and mate, Deathbringer, looked at Tsunami through narrowed eyes.

"You'd better keep her safe," he warned. Glory whacked on the back of the head with her wing before smiling.

"I'll be fine, Deathbringer. There's no need to worry. Besides, I can take care of myself and you know it!" Once again, Tsunami felt jealousy fill her heart as she stared at the happy couple.

"Well," she said." Come on, Glory. We have an important announcement to make to you in the teacher's lounge. They walked to their destination in a comfortable silence, Glory scratching her mind to discover why Tsunami seemed so much, gentler, than the last time she'd been at Jade Mountain Academy.

"Here we are,"Tsunami declared. They entered the room and Glory's eyes widened to see an almost complete, nest?

"Let me guess," Glory said." They're going to need it soon." Tsunami laughed halfheartedly, something not lost by Glory, before nodding.

"I'm expecting eggs!" Fatespeaker squealed with delight. Everyone clutched their ears.

"Three moons," Tsunami groaned." I think you broke all our eardrums!" Looking down, Fatespeaker mumbled embarrassed apology.

"No need to be ashamed though," Tsunami continued." I would probably be just as excited as you if I had eggs." I WAS as excited she thought sourly.

The rest of the day passed by rather quickly, with Tsunami having to watch her step since Glory was here. Then, Tsunami made her decision; soon, she would visit her dragonets. It didn't matter if her closest friends knew her secret; she just wanted to see her little Salt and Reef, and to spend time with them. The longing in her heart was getting unbearable!
