"I'm really excited about going to the Welcoming Party!" Shin Hye exclaims as the four of them walk down the hallway after they have just finished their first class for the day. The girl has been all smiles eversince the announcement has been made and she can't stop gushing about it. "I heard that the theme is Bohemian! What are you guys going to wear?"
"Oh, I'm simply going with a white button-up shirt and khaki shorts." Jimin replies as he sneakily glances at the quiet lady walking just beside Shin Hye. She has been silent for quite awhile and it's bothering him because she's always the one to join the excitement of her friend. "Are you okay, Yoona?"
"She's probably being the airhead as she always has been." Jungkook coolly says with a wide grin on his face, annoying the heck out of the once silent lady.
"I would have been better if I'm not walking with the devil." Yoona retorts and sends a death glare at Jungkook's direction but he just shrugs it off and continues to plaster that annoying smirk of his on his face.
Jimin shakes his head at the exchanged conversation of the two and proceeds to ignore it.
"You've been spacing out since awhile ago. You didn't even ask questions at the lecture awhile ago. Something's up with you." Jimin continues and Shin Hye raises an eyebrow as she looks at Jimin. It seems like he's been a bit... too concerned with her friend lately.
Yoona shakes her head and gives them a reassuring smile before shyly tugging her stray hair on her ear.
"I'm still not decided if I should go to the party to be honest." Yoona hesitatingly says before continuing. "I don't really want to miss going home."
"Ah, still being the daddy's girl as you are?" Jungkook suddenly interrupts her emotional moment and he proceeds to annoy her as he goes to her side and walks beside her. "It's alright if you'll not go to the party. We don't want to take care of a baby throwing tantrums because she can't go home, don't we?"
"Will you shut it, Jungkook?" Yoona asks, obviously annoyed by the fact that Jungkook is not helping with her decision.
Jungkook just shrugs and the four of them continue to walk outside the building. Many girls are greeting him, giddy by the fact that he's actually acknowledging them simply because he's on a good mood today.
And Jungkook in a good mood is a bad news for Yoona.
Yoona stays quiet as Jimin and Shin Hye talks further about the Welcoming Party when she feels like she lost her balance and before she can catch the culprit, she hears some things fall and sees her things scattered on the ground.
Annoyed, she looks at her left and sees that Jungkook has gotten her CC cushion and is checking himself on the mirror.
"What the hell is your problem!?" Yoona snaps as she kneels to the ground and starts to gather her belongings. Her blood is boiling by the fact that Jungkook is still cool by the stunt that he just did.
Shin Hye just shakes her head, getting used to the same old tricks Jungkook has been using since high school. She helps Yoona settle her things and picks up the others which were thrown quite far away from them.
"You shouldn't have done that, Kook." Jimin says as he walks towards the boy who has finished fixing his hair. "Yoona is a girl – when will you stop doing these things to her?"
"We have this thing called 'gender equality' now. I may annoy whoever I want, regardless of their gender." He replies before throwing the CC cushion on the ground and casually walks off towards their next class.
Yoona picks it up and sighs in frustration as she closes her bag and stands up. Jungkook is really getting on her nerves and he's getting better – better at making her want to rip his hair off because he's just so annoying.
And today, she's not holding back.
"Yoona –" Before Jimin can even start his sentence, he watches Yoona storm off quickly towards Jungkook's direction – unfortunately they share the same class for the whole day – and he prevents himself from laughing because Yoona has just kicked Jungkook behind his knee, making him limp before getting back up.
"What –" Jungkook turns in annoyance to see who has the guts to kick him and gets even angrier when he sees the familiar doe-eyed girl standing behind him, breathing heavily because of her quick steps awhile ago.
"You're an asshole!" Yoona yells and lifts her bag, using it to continuously smack him on his arm. "When you will you stop pranking me!?" Hit. "I'm really so close to killing you, you know!?" Hit. "Do you even call yourself a decent guy!?"
"Ah – stop it!" Hit. "Hey!" Hit. "It hurts okay!?"
"My, my. They have no chance to get along, don't they?" Shin Hye says as she watches Yoona continuously hit Jungkook who's trying his best to dodge her attacks. They just follow the duo and surprisingly, they're heading towards the building where their next class is given the circumstance.
"What's going on?" Namjoon asks as he joins Jimin and Shin Hye walk behind the two who are still at war. "I haven't seen Yoona this angry. Did he do something big to piss her off this much?" He winces when he sees that Yoona has just attacked Jungkook on his side and he's covering it so the furious girl will do no further damage on it.
"Well, it's nothing big. Still the same old prank." Jimin replies. "But I guess Yoona's tolerance meter is not doing well today seeing as how we're so close to bringing a friend towards the nearest clinic."
Namjoon just nods and watches as the two stop walking and Yoona's catching her breath as she secures her beaten bag beside her. She continues to glare at the guy who's doing the same as well and they can clearly see the tension forming around them.
"I guess it's time for us to call this is a timeout." Shin Hye walks ahead of them and grabs Yoona by the arm before she can attack the poor guy once again. The two guys just sigh and proceeds to go to their friend's direction, dragging him towards the building's entrance while he's red on the face.
"You're so unlady-like! No one will like you!"
"As if someone will tolerate your rotten attitude!"
"This s going to be a long day." Shin Hye whispers to herself as she covers Yoona's mouth before the girl can even shout something unpleasant once again.
The day's just starting but she can already feel the stress that she's going to face soon because of the two.
