Trouble #24: Never!

"Thank you, Professor Lee!" Yoona enthusiastically says and bows for the last time at her professor who had a bright smile plastered on her face. When she was asked to follow Ms. Lee to her office, Yoona started counting the times when she fell asleep during her class and she's expecting the lady to scold her but to her surprise, Ms. Lee simply wanted to secretly congratulate her for doing well on the exam.

She heaves a deep sigh as she struts down the hallway. So far, she has done so well in her exams and she's so close to achieving her dream of securing an academic scholarship, but she can't be contented as the results of her two math courses are not out yet and she's nervous because of it.

"Excuse me, young lady? Are you from the college of architecture and engineering?" Yoona's thoughts are interrupted as she notices a woman standing in front of her dressed in the fanciest of clothes and her soft facial features remind her of someone, but she can't quite figure out who it could be.

"Ah yes, Ma'am. May I help you with something?" She flashes off her sweetest smile as she may never know if the woman is some kind of professor from another department or something. The last thing that she wanted to do is to offend the woman who may hold a power in the school.

"Oh thanks, sweetie. You're the only approachable person I've seen in this hallway as everyone looks exhausted. Brings back the old days." The woman emits a soft chuckle and Yoona's really getting a familiar feeling of who she might be, but she really can't think of someone similar to her. "Anyway, do you possibly know a student named Jeon Jungkook?"

Yoona is stunned for a second after hearing the woman's question and upon looking at her features once again, the picture of her mortal enemy comes to her mind and as she processes the whole thing, they hear a distressed sound somewhere and they both turn to look at it.

"Ah, dad! I swear it was the only exam that I failed! The rest were either 75% or above!" Yoona almost laughs at how an older man is holding Jungkook by his ear (she assumes that it must be his father) and as the duo make their way towards Yoona's and the woman's direction, Jungkook's face flushes red. "Yah! Im Yoona! What are you –"

"You two know each other?" The woman asks and Yoona can only nod as she tries to suppress a chuckle trying to get out of her mouth. "Oh my! It's lovely meeting you! And you must be Yoona... well, if I heard it right from my son's big mouth."

"Oh yes, Mrs. Jeon. I'm Yoona, an architecture student here. It's nice to meet you!" She smiles and bows her head at the elder and when she sees the fond look from the woman, she feels slightly awkward as Jungkook is like the splitting image of his mother.

"It's so amusing to see that my son is friends with someone so decent like you." Mrs. Jeon says with a smile before turning to the dad and son duo who are silently arguing behind her back. "It has been announced that afternoon classes are suspended because of the emergency faculty meeting, so let's grab some lunch at our home!"

Jungkook groans at the 'invitation' of his mother as he is supposed to play a game with his friends, but he's now going to be forced to go home and to listen to his parents scold for a good few hours. He then curiously glances at the young woman who seems so awkward as his parents try to decide where they're going for lunch.
