-Lily's Point Of View-

I woke up the next morning, almost forgetting the events that occurred last night and all of yesterday. Then, it all came rushing back, everything that happened installed back into my memory, even the smallest of details came back. Suddenly,I wished I was still asleep, that's when I realized I was sleeping on Cole. His arms were wrapped around me and my head was lying on his chest. I could feel his heart beat slow and steady, I could also smell his dreamy scent. I didn't want to move, but I also knew I had to. I carefully lifted his arm from my waist, and slipped out of his embrace. He moved the slightest bit, however he did not awaken. I silently moved to the kitchen, trying not to wake up Cole. Once I was in the kitchen, I start to make some pancakes and bacon. After a couple I heard Cole walking into the kitchen.

"Good morning." Cole said happily, he turned me to face him instead of the stove and he gave me a tight hug.

"Good morning. What woke you up?" I asked, turning my attention back to the food.

"The sweet aroma of pancakes and bacon." Cole said while checking his phone.

"Oh sorry." I said, I concentrated on finishing my cooking. I was secretly thinking about everything, including my past, Kendall, the events of which occurred yesterday, and school. I don't think I'll be able to go back to Brentwood after at what happened, you see, my parents were heavily involved with the school. My dad's picture is in the trophy case for sports, apparently he was the best athlete that Brentwood has ever had. My moms very frequently  mentioned over the announcements for some parent club stuff. Honestly, the whole school was crawling with memories of them. It would just upset me even more. Just thinking was bringing my mood down from upset to back to depressed. Cole must have noticed something was wrong because he gave me a worried and confused look from the kitchen island.

"What's wrong? I mean, besides everything." He asked now standing next to me.

"I can't go back to Brentwood, there's just way to many memories of my parents." I told him, I was now putting the food on the kitchen island for us to eat.

"How?" He asked while sitting down next to me, his undivided attention completely on me.

"Well, in the trophy case is my dad's since he was apparently the best athlete that Brentwood has ever coached. Plus, even if his picture wasn't there my mom's picture is in the office, as an example of a good student. Also, they are both very good friends with Mr. Adams. The place is practically oozing with memories of them." I explained, I had suddenly lost my appetite.

"Isn't nice to have memories of them, Lily?" He was obviously not getting what I was hinting at, yet I knew he would not give up until he understood.

"Not with a past like mine, Cole." I said a little coldly, I didn't mean to say it like that, but it just came out. Cole looked shocked, yet he decided to keep on asking. Now, however, he was a lot more sensitive when asking me.

"What happened?" He looked directly in my eyes a he spoke, I saw concern, care, and love. He had now grabbed my hand and placed it in his own, it was weird, before he held my hand I didn't feel comfortable talking about my past  with anyone, not even Kendall, yet at that moment, I felt able to tell him everything. Which is exactly what I did, I barely even knew what I was saying and before I could get a hold of what I was saying tears were pouring out of my eyes, with Cole hugging me tightly. I felt like a mess, everything about me was scattered everywhere. Since yesterday, there feels like a hole somewhere in me that was replaced with a darkness.

"Everything will be okay, eventually."  Cole had now pulled out of our embrace, I didn't want him to let go. Something about him was just so comforting. He had now looked at my face, he wiped the remaining tears that were still falling down my face.

"Why don't we go somewhere today? Maybe it will help you feel  better." Cole suggested, now starting to eat his breakfast.

"I don't want to go anywhere, I'm not in the mood." I said, staring at the food on my plate.

"Are you sure? It could make you feel a lot better. Plus, I'm skipping school again today to stay with you, so we should try to go do something. I'll be there in case we need to leave early, but you could use some fresh air." He said, I could see in his eyes that he really wanted to go out, that's when I remembered something.

"My mom!" I blurted out suddenly. Cole looked surprised.

"What?" He asked curiously, now finishing the food I had made earlier.

"When my mom had whispered something ear in the hospital she told me to go to her and check my old pictures from when I was a child. I have to go to her house, I need to know what she wanted me to see. Can we go to her house if we have to go out, please?" I asked, practically begging him.

"Yes, of course. I could get my car and drive us there." He suggested.

"That won't be necessary." I said while putting my shoes on.

"Well then how are we going to get there?" He asked, he looked very confused seeing as no one really knew I had a car except Kendall. I led him out into the driveway where I opened my garage to reveal my shiny, red Tesla. I turned to see Cole's reaction to my car and it looked like he was frozen in place. I had hopped into my car and Cole had still not moved.

"Are you coming or not?" I teased cole, he had finally snapped out pf his trance and gave me a smile, followed with a small chuckle. He had hopped into the passenger's side as I started the car. And with that, we had headed to my mom's house. While we were driving there I had gotten a text from someone to I took my hands off the wheel to check it. Almost instantly Cole started freaking out and almost dove to grab the wheel.

"LILY! YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR HANDS ON THE WHEEL! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Cole panicked, I see the panic in his eyes as he held onto the wheel.

"Oh, I forgot. Cole, it's a Tesla it can drive itself. Let go of the wheel." I told him, as I concentrated on my phone texting someone back. Cole very slowly let go of the wheel, it was as if he had not believed that car could drive itself. Once he saw it could he relaxed in his chair, as he was doing before the freakout. I concentrated back on the road and took back control of the car. It took about ten more minutes until we arrived at my mom's house.  I parked in the driveway and exited the car, turning it off, and locking it. I stared at the big mansion, admiring it and Cole was as well.

"You lived here?" Cole asked, gazing at the front of the house adn the front garden.

"Yeah, my dad paid for this house for my mom, and that's why they used to call my father 'Daddy Big Bucks'. He got all the money from the movies he directed." I told Cole,

"Wait, your dad is Chris Reed?" He asked, a shocked expression displayed on his face.

"Yep, the one and only." I said sarcastically, as were walking into my mom's house. I was unprepared for what my mom wanted me to find in the house. I was only praying that it wouldn't be something from my past.
