Marco pov
Just as I predicated Star was back with her crew and I once again invisble like always. I sigh as I closed my locker and Janna looked at her "At least she talked to you yesterday" I rolled my eyes "Yeah I just wish she wouldn't stop acting like I don't exist, I think she broke up with Tom"

"Hold up! She and Tom are over? Like done for good this time? Not a break or anything?" I nodded "I'm pretty sure Janna, you know your obsession with Tom is kinda weird" "No it's not..he's just misunderstood and is too blinded by everything and one day Janna Camilla Ordina will be with him" I chuckled

"Good luck with that Janna, see you later" "Believe in me Marco, also twins 2 o'clock" I groan as the twins came to my side "Hey bro, so I heard you got to chat up Star Butterfly the most beautiful and amazing girl in school" Graham said almost with hearts in his eyes

"Yeah we heard that you fell and she just felt bad so she helped you up" Andrew said "Leave me alone, besides she's not gonna fall for you two..she's needs a real guy" I smirked and continue walking but I was pulled back "Well since you're so buddy-buddy with her why don't you put a good word for me"

Andrew pushed Graham to the locker and pulled me "No put a good word for me! Forget my ugly twin" "Look who's talking four eyes!" I slip away and rush to class away from them.

When school was over I saw Star leaning on her locker and look down at her phone as I was going to talk to her I saw her and Tom kiss. She didn't take my advice, she stayed with him even though he's no good.

They started walking away and Tom pushed me against the locker and I glare at him and I noticed Star with her eyes lowered. Something doesn't seem right?

"Marco Diaz!" I turn and see Janna flushed red and had tears in her eyes and she was soaked "Janna? What happened? Who did this?!" She was breathing heavily and looked at me "Your fucking brothers! They pushed me into the pool when I was going to talk to.."

she stops as she sees Tom walking away with Star "Tom.." I lowered my head "I'm sorry Janna, I thought they broke up but they didn't" she wiped her face and heard her shoes swish as she took off "Janna wait!" I was cut off by the twins "Where are you going? Time for work bro"

"Yeah mom wants you working all night so better get going Marco" they laugh and I shoved them both to the lockers "You idiots hurt my best friends feelings! Stay away from her and me!" I moved away and run off following the trail of water Janna was leaving.

I finally catch up to her and she's sitting at an empty bustop crying and I sit beside her and hold her close. "Its going to be okay Jan" she leaned closer and closed her eyes "If they mess with you, they mess with me" she nods and I pull my red hoodie from my bag and hand it over

"Here, I gotta get going to the stupid diner..feel better okay?" She smiles "Thanks Diaz, I'll give it back" "Its cool I have a couple more so no worries, later" "See ya" I waved and got to the diner and I see everyone and I get changed and prepared with what the day came with.

As it hit 8 p.m. a couple girls walked in probably some locals. As I walked out from the back I kinda blushed when it was Star and Jackie. I took slow steps and made my way towards them "Hey, what would you like to order?"

Star skimmed the menu but I knew what she wanted "Burger Platter please and thank you"she said smiling and Jackie looked at me "Can I get the same thing?" I nodded "Sure, any drinks?" "Strawberry Milkshake" "Vanilla please"

I nodded "I'll be out with your drinks" they giggled and I walked towards the back and Nancy smiled "She came back, maybe it's a sign" I laughed "Nah, she's just hungry and wanted to eat..she didn't even say hi" I said softly "She'll come around" I sigh

"We'll see" I walk out and being their milkshakes "Here you are" "Thanks Marco" Star said looking at me with a bright smile "Yeah thanks man" "Uh your welcome guys" I blushed as I walked back and held my chest "You were saying?" I chuckled at Nancy and waited for the order.

As I left their table the doors busted open and in came a fuming Tom "Star! What the hell?! You said you were late night shopping with Jackie?" "We were, I got hungry so we came here" he looked pretty mad but I didn't want to intrude

"Why are you not telling me where you go?" "Because you don't own me? Tom I'm really getting tired of you being paranoid" he scoffs and looks at Jackie who is giving him a glare "Jackie? You would've told me?" "No, what we do is personal" she faces away and Star smirks

"Go away I'm having a good time without you" he groans and yells in frustration and leaves "We'll talk later!" "Whatever" she said as she lay back on the chair "Ugh I should just leave him" "Why don't you?" Yeah Star why don't you? I peeked from the door

"Tom's family and my family have a business deal, I can't really leave or else the deal is broken and my parents could go broke" wow that must suck "Oh, I'm sorry Star" she sighs "Yeah what a sad truth" "Is that why you're getting that internship in New York?"

Wait she's leaving echo creek? "Yeah, I can have money and be able to send money to my parents and could possibly leave Tom for good" their order was done and I walked out and placed it down "Here you are, enjoy" "Thanks" she smiles so brightly but deep down she's suffering.
