The sunlight shined through the large glass panels illuminating Leonardo's large office. He sat alone in his leather chair as he attentively worked on the computer. Despite his occupancy, his mind did not swift away from what had almost happened the day before with Kaylani. He noticed that the way she made him feel was ecstatic beyond belief. His heart has began to feel in way he had never felt before. Something about her was dangerously intriguing. He had to keep his distance.

"Good morning Leo, I just came to drop off some forms for you. Is there anything you need me to do?" Kaylani kindly asked as she walked in through the wooden doors towards the front of his desk. Leonardo tried extremely hard to avoid making eye contact, or any contact with her. He desperately wanted to keep his relationship with her professional.

"Thank you I don't need anything from you. Please leave." Leonardo remarked.

"Of course. Is everything okay?" Kaylani shyly asked.

"I'm fine! Get the hell out of here!!" Leonardo shouted.

Kaylani immediately turned around and walked without making any noise. She tried to hide her face for her large eyes began to flood with tears. Kaylani quietly closes the door as she walked away.

Kaylani walked over to her small desk and sat down looking at the paper filled table top. Soon enough, small droplets of tears fell from her overflowing eyes and onto the papers. She quickly ran her arm across her face cleaning away the smudged mascara from her cheeks and eyes. As she did that, Betty casually walked in front of Kaylani's desks reading what appeared to be the newspaper. But when she walked directly in front of Kaylani, Betty looked up to notice the emotional mess she was in.

"Oh my Lord, are you okay? Why are you crying beautiful?" Betty worriedly asked as she approached Kaylani with large puppy eyes.

"It's nothing Betty thank you, I just had a rough morning with my mother. I'm fine thanks for asking." Kaylani said she faked smiled.

"Oh you ain't tricking me baby. I saw you walk in this morning and you looked radiant like the sunshine on May 16th." Betty interrogated.

"Why May 16th?" curiously asks Kaylani.

"Oh it was just hot as fuck on that day. I had to change my tampon like 6 times because that sucker got way too soggy with sweat instead of blood." Betty carelessly explained. Kaylani quickly looked nauseated.

"Betty, oh my, I didn't have to hear that." Kaylani awkwardly said.

"Nah girl it's cool, the heat really had my puss-

"OKAAAAAY! That's lovely thank you for your concern." Kaylani loudly interrupted.

"Haha. But really why the long face?" Betty continued.

"It's nothing tragic, just that Leonardo was really rude this morning but I'm over it." Kaylani apathetically said.

"Really?! I can bet you a hundred Pokemon balls that it was because of that kiss you guys almost had. You guys look really cute together. You should definitely tap that girl!" Betty winked.
