"Thank you everyone for meeting here on such a short notice." Monserrat announced. Nearly every employee stood in confusion as they mingled with each other in attempt to figure out what the ruckus was about. Everyone was forced to drop their duties in order to hear a special announcement. Confusion lingered greatly amongst them for Leonardo was not the one calling them in. Everyone assumed that it had something to do with the recent projects the company was taking on but they were greatly mistaken. The air was thick and the suspension was unbearable. Monserrat stood on a small stage pridefully as she looked out into the sea of people.

"Because Carta is an innovative company and it seeks to grow, Leonardo is no longer the CEO of this great business. Ladies and gentlemen, I am thrilled to announce that I am the new CEO of Carta Corporations." Monserrat boasted.

People started to whisper amongst themselves in disbelief. No one knew whether to cheer or stay quiet. Everybody was thrown off with this new realization. As everyone pondered, Sebastian walked in through the doors alongside Kaylani, whose face was utterly anxious and tense. Everybody immediately turned their heads.

"NO SHE'S NOT!" Sebastian exclaimed, "As founder of this company, I appoint Kaylani Westin as the rightful heiress of Carta

People grew even more confused." What kind of sick joke were these people playing" everyone thought to themselves. Kaylani nervously held her gaze down to the floor as people continued to ponder. Except for one person.

"WHOOOOOAAAA!!!!!!! KAYKAY!!! THAT'S MY BEST FRIEND!" Betty shouted carelessly as she broke out into a celebration dance. The air couldn't have gotten thicker. People once again rolled their eyes to the back of their skull as this moment grew immensely awkward. As Betty's scene continued to grasp everyone's attention, Monserrat, who was erupting in anger, walked over to Sebastian and Kaylani.

"What the fuck is this! I am the owner of this damn business. And what are you doing here!" Monserrat growled.

"Listen, Monserrat, I am the founder of this business and legally I have every right to interfere in any decision this company makes, at least until I die. Kaylani is my daughter and I want to give her this company." Sebastian explains.

"So this knocked up tramp is your daughter! Makes sense. Stupidity runs in this damn family. I'm sure Leonardo will love to hear about this." Monserrat continued.

"Leave Monserrat! You no longer own this company." Sebastian threatened. Monserrat furiously walked closer to Sebastian as her eyes dissected him. She lifted her arm and swung it across his face. Kaylani's eyes doubled in size.

"THIS IS NOT GOING TO END HERE!!! I WILL FIGHT TO KEEP THIS DAMN COMPANY!!!" Monserrat screamed at the top of her lungs. Sebastian held his hand against his cheek as Monserrat made her way through the hundreds of people. As the commotion continued, Kaylani couldn't help but hold her large stomach as she took in this massive view. The feeling of overwhelming anxiety was making the air tough to breathe. Kaylani turned to Sebastian.

"I'm sorry but I can't do this. It's too much to take in especially now that I'm pregnant." Kaylani explained.

"I understand. And since you mention it, I would like to know about this pregnancy." Sebastian suggested.
