*Kaylani POV*

I was beaming. I could not help myself from smiling. I walked in through the one of many glass doors that welcomed me to an enormous reception hall that housed hundreds of people, architects, clients and what not. At this point in my career here, I felt secure, not a single ounce of overwhelming anxiety shed on me. Of course, this was not the case when I started. I confidently make my way up to the second to last floor on this large skyscraper where Leonardo and I worked. There was a fluttering feeling of excitement and glee that spilled out of my lips as a smile. I hadn't seen Leonardo or heard from him for a couple of days and my heart was anxious to hydrate the love drought within my soul. Ever since my encounter with Sebastian Carta, I asked him to leave and never return to find me. I was not going to pretend like the last 23 years of my life in suffering, abandonment, and loss didn't happen. Every tear, every sleepless night, every heart ache was not about to vanish in vain because of one simple apology. The man was not worthy of my forgiveness in my eyes that hold much resentment towards him. But if I could take away one great thing from meeting him, I would say that Leonardo and I have history that dates back to when we were born. Ans I couldn't be more glad. Learning about Sebastian made me feel confident in our destiny of being together. I knew him and I were born for each other.

As I walk down the hallway, I couldn't contain myself from seeing Leonardo. I had many things to tell him. As I near his wooden doors, Betty, not paying attention to where she was heading, bumps into me. She falls butt first to the ground as her legs fly open in attempt to catch herself. I, however, was just shaken up.

"Oh my God! Are you okay? I'm sorry." I candidly apologize as I extend my hand to her so she can stand up.

"Jesus KayKay! I almost busted my pangina into four continents!" Betty said with a serious face. I couldn't help but let out a small giggle as she stood.

"I'm sorry girl. Let me fix your hair." I meticulously fixed her bun with my fingers trying to reconstruct her hairdo.

"Thank you Kaylizzle. Soo what's with the smiley face? You got some chorizo didn't you!" Betty winked as she elbowed my side ever so slightly

"You're so crazy Betty! I'm not talking about my sex life with you!"

"Aww come on, I was about to get some pop corn. But really, you and Leo look happy it makes my heart melt like the 16th of May." Betty continued.

"You think so?" I add.

"Are you serious! Leonardo's face lightens up whenever you're near him. He loves you KayKay! And I know you too." She winks again.

"Well I think our love is going to grow after I tell him about this." I rub my belly hinting at Betty my new found joy.

"Are you..? YOU'RE PREGNANT!!!" Betty says as her eyes double in size.

"Ye-

"AHHHHH!!!!!! Eoeydidhenaancwyiwkwneb!!!!" Betty began to break dance right in front me. She spun herself on the ground flashing her orange underwear to nearly everybody who was waiting in the lobby. I cover my mouth as I looked at her in amusement.
