The Match

The day came and I was ready. My father was wrapping my hands with a heavy tape meant for boxing, then putting my green and blue gloves on. I was warming up in my corner. All I had in my mind was, " Sé cambia's todo a tu alrededor, dentro de ti todo cambia." I wanted to win this match and prove to my family that I'm the next champion in our family generation.

It was time. "Now presenting the boxers of this 4 round match." Said the referee. "The person in the blue corner, wearing green and blue, her first match of the night is Stephiene Garcia!!" I jumped, putting my arms up so people can see who I was.

All I heard was my family cheering say," Vamos Stephiene, tu puedes!" I was surprised to see my grandma out of her wheel chair jumping around like a crazy chickmunk who just saw a nut for the first time, even my aunt who was diagnose with cancer. In my head I was cracking up but in my heart I was feeling the flames of this match tonight.

"Now presenting the young lady in the red corner, wearing gold and black, her second match of her life. Winning the last match, give it up for Alicia Jackson!!" Alicia was older than me, one year older.  She had a inflamed face looking towards me. I tried my best to make a furious face too but the face I made looked like if I was taking a dump.

"Lady's and Gentlemen let's getting ready to rumble

"Lady's and Gentlemen let's getting ready to rumble...." Said the referee. I went to knock gloves with my opponent. Alicia just stared at me with a bitter look. I just knock the gloves and left to my corner. While I was heading to my corner my heart was racing fast than ever. Was it because I was nervous or something. I didn't know what it was but I adored it!

I sat in a small stool listening to my coaches telling me what to do with my punching strategies. I didn't listen to them, I just looked at my father, his face was happy and made me feel like I'm was worthy enough to box. "Ring ring," the bells had rang, I was up looking at my opponent faces. Her and my boxing position were ready. Remember each round was a minute and 30 seconds.

We started, she throw the first punch at me. I duck down and punched her in the nose. Trust me, I was scared, I wanted to tell her sorry but I couldn't. She delivered another punch which actually hit me in my chin. The bell rang meaning time for a 40 second break. I was just scared to punch. My coaches were all spitting in my face while talking, my father just came up pushed my coaches away and say that I can do it no matter what happens, also telling me, "Sé cambia's todo a tu alrededor, dentro de ti todo cambia." I started to get active again.

The bell rang again. I was rushing to haunt her down. The second round was over. My force was getting more and more alive. Bell rang again, I'm tired of say this all over again. Anyways I was rushingto get a punch at Alicia face, but Alicia punched me in the cheek.

I felt the stunning from the punch on my cheek, making me angry. My heart was beating fast, so I did the most awesomeness move I ever done in my life and it was the overhand move. I did a right overhead move in the medium range. This deliver a great deal of power to my punch. Alicia fell to the floor. I didn't know what to do but run to my corner. "KO blue corner wins!" The referee said. I WON!! I couldn't believe it, my father ran towards me to hug me and my mother. Seeing my family happy made me proud to be a Garcia.

Alicia came up to me. I was starting to worry. "Nice fight tonight, I expect you to be a future champion and go against me again." Wow she was nice after all. We gave each other fist bumps, and I started imaginings how many KOs (knockouts) I'm going to have in the future.
