He was like a forest fire that just kept raging and raging on, destroying everything in its way. Its flames blindingly bright and scorching hot, burning like hell if you came too close. But I wanted him to burn me.
His love was all-consuming. It was like suffocating in the smoke, knowing there was no way out and that this would be the end of you. He would be the end of you.
But then came the pouring rain. Blissfully putting out the flames and healing the wounds like it was fairy dust falling out of the, now, bright blue sky. It was everything you could have ever wished for and more.
It was perfect, until he lit a match again.
