"I want you to tell me what your problem is Adym. You've been crying so hard you've almost bled from your eyes, and you're still tomato red." Jacob leaned down to look in Adym's eyes. "I want you to tell me what's wrong."

"I've .... *face of depression waves across Adym's face as he purses his lips in a line and a tear rolls down his cold face*, *breath hitch* ... I ... *whimper*"

"Don't cry. Just speak to me."

"I've been your friend for years. Since 7th grade. I've helped you out so much, and you've done the same for me. We've supported each other. Thick and thin. I know you've been jealous of me, and I have been jealous of you to before. We were, no, we are inseparable. We're like this," Adym said crossing his fingers, "But I've been keeping this from you for a long time."

"What might that be?" Jacob said crossing his arms.

"I've had my times, trials, tribulations with other girls. Even your si-"

"Yeah. I know." Jacob interrupted.

"And well other girls. I've been looked up to before and been the *Adym uses air quotes* alpha before. But here's the thing."

"Tell me."

"I've always looked up to you. To us, our bond, what we could be. We could be just friends, we could be like brothers, or something more. And I've never wanted to really admit. I never wanted to ... to ... tell you how I felt. About you at least. Nevermind myself or my feelings. But, the thing I want you to know, and know this. I love you. You're smart, you loyal. You're one of the most beautiful human beings on this planet. *voice wobbles* And I don't deserve your friendship, let alone what we have. I guess, ..... I need you."

By now Jacob was dead silent, eyes watery and tears dripping on his arms, staring a hole into the floor. He felt like a stone inside, but so warm. The mood in the room was only describable by PARTYNEXTDOOR's song Recognize. *you should listen to it, it's great. Snapchat used it and it was Iconic* But in a sad emotion.

"I do too. But, ... why are we lost? Why can't you answer my question? What's the issue with us? And us being together?"

"I don't know!!" Adym yelled. "I just have feelings for you that are inexplicable! I don't know what I'm feeling. I'm loving my best friend ok!!! It's not an everyday thing!!!"

"Answer my question Adym!"

Adym began to cry again. His face began to heat up again and he turned magma red. Adym wiped the gushing tears from his eyes and turned his cap back. "I don't know." Adym choked out.

"You never know, Adym! I could ask you the simplest question. Like why are we lost, and you can't answer me. What's the ISSUE?!!!"

"I don't fucking know!!!!" Adym shouted back at the top of his lungs drowning in tears. His voice was as quiet as a mouse and dying when he said: "I can't explain."

Adym was in a fetal position on floor in the conjoined dining room. His face was as red as an apple, he was so warm, and veins on his neck were bulging out. He was almost crying blood for real, he was super stressed out and becoming hydrated. His blood pressure was shooting up, about 175. And at this point he was crying because of the pain and stress in his chest. And he couldn't breathe.

By this point Jacob had gone back downstairs. He was watching a documentary, but wasn't able to concentrate since he was thinking about Adym. He was thinking about what their relationship could be. And just everything involving him and Adym. But his thoughts were interrupted by a loud scream/wail. He ignored it for a second because it sounded like Adym was crying. But he thought better of it and went to check on the younger boy because the cry was followed by dead silence.

Jacob rushed upstairs to Adym. He jolted across the room to the table leg where he was lying. Jacob cried, not holding back a single tear, as he kneeled over Adym's body. Adym was lifeless, hot, throbbing, with dried up red tears. He became so stressed he eventually cried those blood tears.

Jacob kissed Adym's hand and held it near his face as he called 911 and felt for a pulse. Adym was still alive, but with a pulse lower than that of a resting endurance athlete. He was 15 beats per minute and unconscious.

phone conversation between Jacob and 911 operator:

O: Nine one one, what's your emergency?

J: My boy.... my friend. He's .... *domestic wail* dead. *soft crying*

O: Where are you?

J: 435 Lynx avenue, Los Angeles

O: An ambulance and a couple disbatchers will be there immediately.

J: thank you so much. Tell them to come as fast as they can, he means the world to me and I wouldn't be able to live without him.

Jacob was extremely weak as he hung up the phone. He could only collapse his top half over Adym's body and cried, almost like Adym had when the arguments first started.

The ambulance showed up and asked Jacob a few questions. Then the police asked him a few questions, and Adym was taken to the hospital.

Jacob immediately phoned for Adym's mother when he got in the ambulance. His mother sounded horrified as Jacob described Adym's condition.

"I'm coming to the hospital immediately. Call me to tell me which one."

After they arrived at the hospital, Jacob called Yolannda* to tell her which hospital. Then called Sawyer and Nick. And his own mother and father, since they'd all had a great relationship dating back from 7th grade Jacob and Adym.

*Yolannda- I'm gonna assume his mom's name is a y name, I don't really know his mom's name.

The doctor came back about 3 hours later and it was about 12 midnight.

Jacob was the first to his feet, followed by Adym's mother not far behind. "How is he?" Jacob asked a tear rolling down his cheek, dreading the word death.

"He's almost gone. He won't be able to visit for about 5 days. And he'll need a minor eye surgery."

Jacob burst into tears. But suddenly stopped when the doctor touched his shoulder. "But he's fine. God's with him. Just have faith."

"Thank you so much." Jacob said voice wobbly, as he bear hugged the doctor. She wrapped an arm around him. He pulled away after feeling his mother tug on his shirt sleeve. Jacob felt like he was hugging the lord himself. But he came back to reality after a few seconds more.

"Thank you. What's your name?"

"Dr. Jakobb. Imani Jakobb."

Jacob once again thanked her and sat until he was alone. After a bit of deep thinking, just about life, he went home.
