This Is Wrong

Are You Ready?

"Hannah Wake Up You're Gonna Be Late For Work!!"  Jessi yelled from the other room. I shot up and looked at the spot next to me. Empty. I looked in the bathroom. Empty. Checked my phone. No notifications or texts. Nothing he was gone. No note no nothing he just left.

I stood in the bathroom looking in the mirror at the marks Luke made on my neck. I smiled at the memories from last night, but my heart also hurt. He left and because he was my boss it would never be more than what it was.

I sat on the floor with my back against the tub. I pulled my knees up to my chest.

"What have I done?" I just barely got the words out before tears made their way down my cheek.

I'm not a one night stand girl. That's not me. I loved him and I couldn't be with him how is this fair?  Taking a breath I decided to pull myself together.

If Luke was able to leave that easily without saying anything. I could to. I grabbed my make up bag and covered the spots on my neck and did my make up before walking out and putting on an outfit for work.

"Good morning." I said as I grabbed a cup of coffee.

"Good morning." Jessi said with a mouth full of cereal.

"Hey what happened with Luke last night?" Amy said smirking.

"Nothing we hung out and he fell asleep so I went to bed and when I woke up he was gone." I shrugged and took another sip of my coffee.

"Well that's boring." Amy shook her head and sat back on the couch looking very disappointed.

"I guess. Anywho I have to head to work. I'll see you guys later." After giving each of them a hug by I took my coffee cup and my car keys and headed to work with no clue what was to come.

*At Work*

"Here you go." I spoke up setting a cup of coffee on Luke's desk.

"Good morning beautiful. Did you sleep well last night?" Luke spoke with his sweet caring voice that I didn't even know existed until last night.

"Yup just fine. Is that all you needed?" I said getting ready to walk out.

"Hey hey what's wrong?" Luke said standing up and grabbing my wrist. His voice was still sweet and caring. As well as his blue eyes.

"You left this morning. Without even letting me know. I came in blind to work this morning without any knowledge of how we where playing this out." I said quietly.

"I'm sorry baby. I just left at like 4:00 am. I had leave every morning at 5:30 so I needed to make it home before Amanda realized I never came home last night. I didn't want to wake you because you looked so peaceful. I'm sorry baby." Luke looked behind me before he kissed me. The kiss was full of passion and care. At first I tried to stay mad at him and ignore the kiss but I just couldn't do it.  I fell into his trap and kissed him back.

I gently let my hand run up to his cheek and gently caress it with my thumb.

"So how are we gonna do this? It's against the work policy." I mumbled quietly as I pulled away.

"We can keep it a secret for a little while." Luke said. "Then we will figure it out I promise." Luke kissed me again gently. "Besides the worst they can do is fire me, and got you it would be worth it." I smiled and kissed Luke again.

"I love you and no matter what happens. This will be worth it." Luke smiled at my words and kissed me again.

"I love you so much." Luke replied smiling.

"Are you ready to take on the office?" I replied laughing.

"I've never been more ready for anything in my entire life." Luke replied laughing.
