*Mark's P.O.V*
After a thirty minute wait, we arrived at the street. The three of us got off the bus and headed down the sad street which had a dark aroma apparently.
"So which house is it again?" Amy asked.
"195 Woodblock Rd." I re-read the paper, then looked back up to see if I could find that house.
"Are you sure it's a house? Because it looks more like a mental asylum if I do say so myself." Drea wrote on a peice of paper.
"Wait, what?" The ten year old then pointed to a big house at the end of the road. She was right. All the other houses looked like, well houses. Except this one. It was a bit wider and taller than the other ones. I sighed and walked closer to the buliding. Once at the door step of the house, I knocked on the door and it opened. But no one was on the other side of the door.
"Fuck dat!" Amy commented and truned around to leave. Before she could have gone anywhere, I grabbed onto the girl's collar and pulled her back beside me.
"Hello? Any one home?" I called out as we walked inside the house. There was no response.
"Ok. No one's home. Let's go." Amy said and was about to turn around, but the floor underneath her collapsed and she fell with a scream.
"Wait! Am-" I was caught off guard by the floor underneath me and Drea collapsed and we fell down with Amy. Well, it's wasn't really a fall, it's was like we were sliding down a a big slide. Amy was only making it more dramatic by screaming at the top of her lungs. Soon, we came to the bottom of the slide to see some sort of pad for music.
"It looks like a gigantic Launchpad." Drea said.
"That's what I was thinking." All of a sudden, a tune started to play as colours from the squares lit the room. It semmed to be telling us a pattern we have to follow.
"That song sounds awfully fimilliar," Drea started. She listened to the song some more and she was correct. The music did sound fimilliar. "I think it's The Pink Panther theme. No, it is the Pink Panther theme." She continued while Amy was humming along.
"Oouu I want to do this so bad!" Amy boasted and watched the tiles change colour.
"You know how to do this?"
"Well of course! It's like follow the leader; step on the right tile in the right sequence and don't get hurt." She repiled. After, the song came to an end, which ment we had to copy the tiles. "Now, let me proceed." The blonde them got up from the dirty floor, dusted herself off and went up to the white tiles to start. Amy bounched on one tile, making the first note, then jumped on the second tile, which made the second note of the song. She countiued until she was done the whole song. And when she finshed, the tiled turned green as she went on the other side of the while squares.
"See? I told you it was easy." She smirked.
"Yeah, for you." I barked back and she chuckled.
"I'd like to have a try." Drea said. She handed me her notepad and pen before going to jump on the tiles. And she successful made it through the first half of the song, before making a mistake. A hundred pound weight come from the ceiling right where Drea was, but lucky she moved in time to that the weight couldn't hit get her. But, her body slammed to a wall.
"Jesus Drea! Are you okay?" I yelled out for her. She sticked up a thumbs up, assuring me that she was alright. Great. The fact that there are specific squares you need to step on in a specific order make it hard. The fact that there's something bad bound to happen when you make a mistake makes it ten times more hard. 'Crap...' I set down the paper and pen since it was my turn now. 'Come on. Anything for (Y/N).' I then jumped on the first square, them the second. And third. I was doing it. And doing it without fail. 'Hell yeah!'
"Mark watch out!" Amy called as I stepped on the worng tile. A saw came down near my body and almost sliced me in half. I moved back in time, but not fast enough since the saw made a cut in my cheek. And made another slit in my arm beacause my stupid self rose my hands while moving back. 'Craaap.' I countiued on with the song and made it to the end, with barely all my limbs.
"Advise me to never do things like this again." I told Amy while she placed a plaster on my cheek.
"Sure." She chuckled. Looking around the oom, I couldn't see Drea anywhere.
"Drea?" I called her name, but no respone.
"Drea?!" I began to panic.
"DREA!" Then, something touched my chest. It was Drea. The girl place a paper on my check for me to read.
"Calm down I'm right here." The girl said. Them it reminded me that she doesn't have any vocal cords.
"Dont scare me like that."
"You're the one who scared me. You barley made it without any limbs. Anyways, aren't we supposed to be going somewhere?" The ten year old pointed to a big door that just opened. We entered the door to find a stand that had a paper on it and it was covered in glass. And on top of the glass was a bag filled with something. Probably sand.
"I think it like in the movies where you have to find something that weighs the same amount." Amy commented. I looked around us and there was nothing that looked like it weighed the same amount as a bag of sand.
"But there's nothing." I sighed.
"Oh well." I quickly took off the bag of the glass, grabbed the paper and bounced while the buliding was flashing red lights, shaking like all hell and starting to collapse. We barely made it out of the buliding before it came crashing down to the floor.
"That's was close." Drea said and wiped some sweat off of her forehead.
"I know right?" Amy repiled.
"Anywho, let's see what this paper says..." I opened the letter to find yet another riddle.
"All you cared about was your reputation,
All you wanted was to bulid your following.
With all this ammunition,
You still won't be able to fight off the heard that's coming.
Since you want more affection,
Head to Wellington,
Where you can find your girl that failing."
"I have a feeling hat this is the last one were going to get." I added and we were off.
