I woke up to the sound of the town people talking and kids crying. Grunting, I woke up from the broken down mattress I was laying down on and looked around my surroundings. The broken mirror and a basket that has the left over deli meat and bread. 'If I want to make it alive in this town, I gotta get me something to eat. Better yet a job...' I sighed as I got up and went over to the mirror. I looked at myslef in the mirror and almost screamed. I looked horrible, real horrible. Like if the devil and Hitler had a baby, I would be that baby with a scarf on. I took out the hair tie that was holding my hair together and combed my hair with my hands. 'If I want a job, at least I have to look good...' I tired my hair back up and went over to my bag filled with all sort of stuff and I brought out some black shorts with a black and white shirt. I took my black scarf and wrapped it like how I usually do and made sure it was nice and tight. Leaving the ends to hang off my small, but somehow big boobs, I went over to the basket and took a peice of bread and stuffed it into my mouth. Leaving the house, I stood on top of a building where I looked down onto the city, seeing that everyone was up and running, doing their own thing. I jumped down to a shade provider and looked down on the stores and jobs I could have.

"(Y/N)!!" I heard someone call my name. My eyes looked for the face who called my name and found that Emila was waving at me with Jack beside her with his hands in his pocket, swinging back and forth. I came down to their level and walked up to him.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Hey (Y/N)." Jack said, smiling at me.

"So, what brings you guys here?" I asked.

"Well, since there's nothing to do on Saturdays and we wake up early on Saturdays, we decided to come donw here and but some fruits from breakfast." Emilia repiled. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for a job." I said simply.

"Aren't you like, 17?" Jack asked.

"Yes and I live alone, with no food, water or clean clothes. Your point is?" Jack then suddenly had this look of worry on his face, like he's about to show me some pity. I really didn't like it.

"Well, I mean, if you want to live with us, that's OK. Mom can buy you some clothes and you could eat dinner with us. " He suggested. Well, it would be nice if I had a hot meal every night and some decent clothes. But Momma always said not to trust strangers. Yeah, they're my friends, and I decline, that would just be flat out rude.

"You really don't mind a girl you just met a few hours ago walking around your house?" I asked. Emilia shook her head no while Jack shrugged his shoulders. "Well ok then..." I said, going against my instincts.

"Great. Anyways, when are you gonna get your stuff?" He asked.

"Well, if you want me to go now, I could." I pointed to my house behind me and Jack's and Emilia's eyes widen.

"Yeah. You live up there?" Emilia gasped when I nodded my head yes.

"What? I'm broke as hell!" I stated.

"That's understandable..." She nodded in satisfactory.  I rode my eyes before jumping up back to the shade provider and looking back down at the two.

"Anyways, are you coming or not?" I said to the two people below. They shrugged their shoulders before joining me in top of the shade providers. "Damn" were you guys in katare classes?"

"Well, I mean, you can say that..." Jack added. "I've been. She just taught herself gymnastics." I then jumped back to my house and welcomed the sblibings.

"Welcome one and all, to my home." I said in a depressed tone. What? My so called "house" was falling apart! It's not even a fully made room, I don't even think it can be called a room since the roof and my entrance is missing. Yes, the roof is my entrance. Don't judge me and my poorness. I went over to grab my bag and the meat and bread I stole and stuffed them into my bag.

"Where and how did you get that?" Jack asked and leaned against the broken up wall.

"I got it from the bakery and I stole it." I repiled and got up. "Now, can we go?" I tighten my scarf  so it would fall off when I'm doing flips and shit.

"Sure. Let's go." Emilia said before Jack could get a word out. The tiny girl jumped out and landed on a shade provider. She looked back at the two of us and I looked at Jack.

"Ladies first." I said and pointed to the shade provider. Jack kissed his teeth and jumped before me. I followed slowly after. "Ok. If we're gonna do this, we should at least make it fun."

"Define 'fun'." Jack said.

"Fun as in it's gonna be a race." I repiled. He nodded. "But, where is your house?"

"Run all the way down there then take a right. Take a left then go straight ahead before taking another left. There's gonna be a bunch of hours at the dead end, but the the one and the far right is our." Who does that little 7 year old girl know all  of that? When I was 7, I didn't even know what 1 + 1 was. Let's just face it. I'm a fucking idiot. "Ok. On go. 3, 2, 1..."

"GO!!" All three of us yelled at the same time beofre dashing off. I eventually found myself running on the ground, stepping over people's feet and I bounced on a baby's stroller like the ruthless peice of shit I am. I countiued on the ground until I was stopped by a wall of people. 'Shit. I'm blocked...' I looked ahead to see Jack and Emilia up ahead. Well, I did say I was a ruthless peice of shit, so without a doubt, I jumped on top of someone store, well, their orange and got on top of the building and started to run again, catching up to Emila and Jack once again. I looked over to the slibings and smirked since I was getting a head of them.

"BARREL!!" Jack yelled and pointed to an object that was in front of me. I didn't react in time, which made me bump into the barrel, thus, making me fall into a alleyway.

"Shit..." I said, rubbing the back of my head since I landed hard on it. I looked up to see people hovering over me. 'At this point at time, WHERE IS JESUS WHEN YOU NEED HIM!?' Great. Now I'm in some deep shit I don't need to be in....

(AN: HOLY FUCKIN JESUS!! It's been a long time since I've seen this book. Sorry if I took so long to update, but if you read about it in my other book, you'll know what happened. If you didn't, well, long story short, I had to write my friend a book because I'm going on a over night trip a wee from now. So, I wasted most of my writing time to write that 6 chapter long book. I only wore the book because I wanted her to sleep with me in the same room as some upperclassmates I have to share a room with. And that explains my absence. But hey, at least I didn't leave off on a cliff hanger...But ANYWAYS

Thanks for reading,

And I'll see you,

In the next chapter.

BUH-BYE!!!
