•Chapter Five•
ANNIE'S POV
Hayden and I rushed as fast as we could to the car. Hayley has interrupted our dates before, but this one seems way more serious. Hayley sounded horrified on the phone. I hope she's okay.
*10 minutes later*
We got to where Hayley said she was, and Hayden and I both jumped out of the car.
A-HAYLEY! WHERE ARE YOU?!
H$-I'm r-right here.
When I saw Hayley, I bursted into tears. She was on the ground with scratches, cuts, and bruises all over her. She was crying and shaking. I ran the short distance between us as fast as I could.
A-Are you alright? What happened?!
H$-I don't know what happened. I was went to see a movie with Alexa, and I started walking home. Then I felt someone drag me and beat me up. I couldn't move.
H-Did you see who it was?
H$-No. I'm almost positive it was a guy though.
A-Well let's get you in the car. We can take you to our place so mom and dad don't see you like this.
Hayley tried to get up, but she couldn't. I didn't know if she was injured or traumatized.
A-Ok we're taking you to the hospital. Hayden, pick her up and carry her to the car. She can probably lay down in the back.
H-Ok.
Hayden put Hayley in the car, and we rushed to the hospital.
*1 hour later*
The doctor came in and said that from being beat up so bad, Hayley became very weak. She would have to stay in the hospital for a few days until she gets better.
*3 hours later*
HAYLEY'S POV
Hayden and Annie left to go home about an hour ago. I tried falling asleep, but I couldn't. I was still traumatized. I was almost asleep when I heard footsteps coming towards me. I opened my eyes and it was him.
