•Chapter Seven•
ANNIE'S POV
Hayden and I bolted to the hospital. We ran inside and saw my parents in the waiting room. We immediately ran to them.
A-Any update on Hayley?
MB-None yet. She's still in surgery.
A-Is she going to make it?
MB-I don't know. We can only hope for the best.
So many thoughts were running through my head. I already lost Caleb. I can't loose Hayley too. I dropped to the ground and started sobbing. I couldn't hold it in anymore. Hayden sat down right beside me. He was hugging me and told me that everything would be okay.
A-You keep telling me that everything is going to be okay, but look where we are? Is everything really going to be okay?
H-Yes. I know that for a fact because I believe in Hayley. She can fight through this.
A-I hope you're right.
H-I know I'm right.
This whole situation felt like deja vu. I feel like this has happened before. Then it hit me. It was the same hospital and the same scenario. Lexi. She was stabbed. She was in this hospital. She was in surgery for what felt like hours, leaving everyone on the edge of their seat. But she didn't make it. I started whispering to myself, and I kept saying prayers.
A-Please Hayley. You are a fighter. You can get through this. I can't lose you too. I believe in you. Do it for me. Do it for Hayden. Do it for Mom and Dad. Do it for the man who stabbed you. Show him that you are stronger than he thinks.
Then the doctor came out.
Will Hayley survive? I've been doing so many cliffhangers lately😂Next chapter will be up tomorrow since it's really late where I live💗
