ANNIE'S POV
She was alive. She fought through it all. I sprinted to her room and found her already awake.
A-Oh my gosh Hayley I'm so glad that you're alive.
MK-We were so worried about you!
H$-Hey do you guys mind if I speak to Annie alone for a second?
MK-Not at all. We'll be in the hallway.
Everyone walks out the door, leaving Hayley and I alone.
A-So...what did you want to talk to me about?
H$-When I was in surgery I saw something.
A-You were awake during surgery?
H$-Not exactly...
A-You were dying?
H$-Yes...But I saw something-well more like someone...
A-Who?
H$-Caleb.
A-What? Really?!
H$-Yeah. He said that now isn't my time. He's the reason why I'm alive. He told me I couldn't go to heaven yet.
A-...
H$-But before I left he told me to tell you something, and I don't understand what he's trying to tell you.
A-What is it?
H$-He said that this is only the start. The world is way different than you think.
A-What?
H$-I know. I'm confused too.
A-Maybe it's something I need to know for the future?
H$-Maybe.
*2 hours later*
Hayley was getting tired, so Hayden and I left. My parents decided to stay at the hospital just in case. Caleb's words were stuck in my head all night. What does he mean by "This is only the start. The world is way different than you think."
