•Chapter One•
ANNIE'S POV
I woke up to an asleep Hayden sprawled out on top of me. I laugh then try to gently nudge him over, but I'm not successful. After that fail, I try to slip out from under him. I make it out, but I wake up Hayden by accident. He gives me a dirty look and flips over so his back is facing me. Then he goes back to sleep. He's so dramatic. I whisper to myself, "someone's moody this morning." I get dressed and ready for the day, and I head downstairs to make breakfast.
*20 minutes later*
I finish making breakfast, and Hayden is still asleep. I let him sleep because god knows what would happen to me if I tried to wake him up.
*30 minutes later*
I hear footsteps from down the hall. The drama queen is finally awake.
A-Morning sleeping beauty.
H-Haha very funny.
A-I hope you know that I woke up this morning to you sprawled out on top of me.
H-Really?
A-Yeah. I don't think you remember this because you were half asleep, but when I got out from under you, you woke up and gave me a dirty look. Then you flipped over like a diva so your back was facing me.
We both laugh, and Hayden sits down to eat breakfast (btw Hayden and Annie live together in an apartment). He finishes his breakfast, and we start talking.
A-Wow. You ate that like your life depended on it.
H-What's up with you making fun of me this morning?
A-I don't know. You're just being extra dramatic today.
H-Anyway, I was thinking we could go out to lunch.
A-You just ate piggy.
H-I meant later.
A-Ooh and we can go to the beach after!
H-I'll only go if you quit making fun of me.
A-Deal.
*1 hour later*
I finished getting ready, and we headed out to lunch. We went to a new diner near the beach. We talked and just had fun. It's crazy how we spend so much time together, yet there's always something new to talk about. After lunch, we head to the beach. We were there for about 10 minutes, and a text message pops up on my phone.
