The sun set,
Lights go out,
Everything slows as people sleep,
Dark fills my eyes as they close,
Smiles,
Eyes,
Pass through my head,
Everything is fine,
Dreams of peace,
Then you stir,
A loud sound,
Colours flash,
And everything ends,
With the open of frightened eyes,
Fear and tears for what you saw,
Nothing will be the same,
After that nightmare!
