I go to the doctor,
One day,
In need of a surgery,
"My heart is too big" I say,
"It's too full of love,
Can you empty it for me?"
He says in reply,
"Alright, fine,"
So I get ready,
I tried to give away my love,
Show that I cared,
But that didn't work,
Now we are here,
A few days later,
He empties my love,
It feels so light,
I feel like I could fly!
then,
I see my friend cry,
And I don't wonder why,
I pass a man on the street,
Hungry and cold,
And I don't stop to help,
My love is gone,
And I don't care,
But the doctor only emptied,
What had been there,
My heart starts to fill again,
Slowly but surely,
My heart starts to break once more,
My love,
My love breaks me,
And I think I need to see the doctor again,
This time maybe,
Just maybe,
He can remove my heart.
