In the Sky

Every day you saw her,

That girl in the back of the room,

You saw the way she looked at you,

But never thought it would bloom,

Everyday turned into one day,

With her at the front of the room,

She wore no smile,

Just tears,

She wears no long sleeves,

Like you usually see her do,

Red lines tear your eyes with sadness because you know,

They were hide,

So she could live,

With a smile to show,

She says goodbye,

Before disappearing between the rows,

On the news the next night,

The girl you thought you would know,

Her face turned up on the show,

She had died,

She said goodbye,

But that was a lie,
