  Halsey's POV
"It's not just the paparazzi. It's more than that like... I don't know." I say. She gives me another confused look as I look up at her and shrug my shoulders with a weak smile. "Never mind." I tell her. She nods and I try to think of a way to distract her from asking me about what I was going to say.

"Oh, I never caught your name." I say as she looks at me.

"Lauren Jauregui and you're Halsey, right?" She asks. I nod my head and we fall silent for a minute. I look over at her and wonder if the paparazzi bothers her like it does me.

"Um, do you mind if I ask a question?" I ask.

"Well, you just did." She says. I shrug my shoulders and shake my head denying the question I was about to ask. She raises an eyebrow and motions for me to go on.

"No, it's fine. You can ask whatever you want." She says. I nod and make my way over to the front of the couch, sitting down as I ask her,

"Uh, does the paparazzi bother you a lot? Is it normal for you to be pushed and shoved?" She bites her lip in thought and takes a few steps closer to me. I pat the spot beside me on the couch for her to sit down so she walks over and takes a seat.

"I don't usually get pushed around that much but I think that's mostly because almost all the time I'm with all my other girls from fifth harmony. To fully answer your question, yes. They do bother me and it can be annoying when they ask about Camren." She says. I instantly grow confused at the last part as I have no idea what she means by Camren. Who would be Camren? I shift my body a little so I'm facing her.

"Oh, so you're one of the girls from fifth harmony. I've heard of you guys." I start. She nods and I continue. "Who's Camren though?" I ask. She bites her lip and lets out a sigh before replying.

"It's a ship name for me and one of the other members of the band, former member, Camila. I'm actually quite surprised you haven't heard." I shrug my shoulders and nod.

"Well, I try to stay out of other people's lives." I say. She nods her head and looks me in the eyes, making our eyes interlock with each other's.

"Yeah, it's seems like a lot of people are pushing their way into my life though."

"Well I know for a fact that everyone is digging their noses into my life and I hate it." I say with a sigh at the end. She bites her lip and turns to me.

"It really does bother you, doesn't it?" She asks me. I try to figure out what she means but then I nod as I remember what I had told her about the paparazzi.

"Yep." I say. She gives me a sympathetic nod along with a small smile that I don't even notice I'm returning to her until she silently laughs and stands up.

"Thanks for saving me from the crowd out there. I should probably make it back to my girls and nice lipstick. Blue, it suits you considering your hair is the same color." She says. I smile even wider trying to not blush at her compliment.

"Aww thanks Lauren." I say as I get up and lead her over to the door.

"Nice apartment as well." She complements. Now I can't help but blush so I try to hide it.

"Thanks. I'm just renting it though. I don't have a place in Miami." I say. She raises her eyebrows in surprise and smiles.

"You should. It's beautiful down here." She says which is true. From what I've seen of this place, it seems amazing.

"It is, and anyways it was no problem dragging you out from all those people." I tell her. She nods and lets out a faint giggle as our eyes meet once again. She starts to have a smirk spread across her face while one slowly appears on mine as I notice we both have close to the same green eyes, mine being more of a hazel.

"I should probably get going but are you sure you're okay? I did run into you pretty hard." Lauren breaks the silence and I nod. "I have really nice eyes, don't I?" I giggle and once again, I'm blushing.

"I'll see you around." I say with a smile, slightly embarrassed from blushing at her comments.

"Yeah. See you Halsey and thanks once again." She says.

"No problem. Bye Laur." I say, not noticing I gave her a nick name until she was gone. Then it hit me, two things actually. The comment she gave herself about her eyes was actually to herself and I since we have a very similar color of eyes but the only difference is mine are more of a hazel and the second thing that hit me in that moment, I think I might feel something towards her. She did leave me... What's the right word for it?

Star struck, but who knows? What if I don't feel anything towards her, maybe I don't.
