Hey ladies and labradors! This is just a sneak peek of the story, just to test the waters so to speak. So, tell me what you think! :)

".....And we're gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn" I belted out along with Ellie Goulding, dancing around my room. I jumped on my bed, spinning around in a circle, and then jumping off of the bed and heading towards my full body mirror that hung on the door of my closet and danced funky dance moves that I wouldn't have dared to do in public. From the corner of my eye, I noticed the door of my room open up and saw my older brother Blake poke his head in, right when I was trying (and epically failing) to twerk.

"ALRIGHT, WHO GAVE RAE OREOS AGAIN?" He shouted, directing his question to the two other people currently in my house.

"TOMMY DID IT!"

"DID NOT!"

" DID TO!"

"IT WAS TIMMY'S IDEA!"

"WAS NOT!"

"WAS TO!"

My 5 year old twin brothers shouted at each other. I ignored their shouts and carried on with my concert, Blake looking both annoyed and amused.

"You two are in deep trouble when mom comes home!" he said, making his way downstairs where the little devils were. Suddenly feeling lonely, I turned off the music and skipped downstairs. Which was honestly a bad idea in my sugar-drunk state. Before I knew it, I was tumbling down the stairs, landing in a heap on the ground.

"Ouch! Holy fudgecakes, that hurt!" I exclaimed, stating the obvious. I sat up on the floor, checking myself for broken bones, which came up negative. As I reached the conclusion that I was injury free, the door bell rang.

"Hey Rae can you get that for me please? That must be the pizza I ordered. Mom and dad won't be home until late." my brother said, his voice coming from my left, in the direction of the living room. The staircase was situated across from the front door, which meant I was closer to it anyway. on my left was the hallway that led to the livingroom/gameroom while on my right was the hallway that led to the dining room and the kitchen. Sighing, I got up and winced. Just because I hadn't broken anything didn't mean I wouldn't be sore.

"Yeah, yeah. I got it." I said, making my way to the front door. I grabbed the door knob and twisted it open.

And then my jaw dropped.
