~SOMETHINGS CAN NEVER BE UNSEEN. That's what Don told me after our father's death. In all honesty, I never got why he told me that, and only that. Although, everything has been coming together.
~I REACH DON'S ROOM, PLACING a careful knock on the fine wooden door before me. Slow footsteps can be made out on the other side of the door. As the door pushes open, I'm met face to face with my head maid.
"Where's Don?" A gental smile runs across her fave and her gaze softens.
"I'm sorry, my Lady. I have not seen Sir Don for quite some time."
"Hm," I hum out in dissatisfaction. "Alright, thank you." She gracefully curtsies to me, and closes the door, allowing it to click shut.
My heels push against the ground, turning me back in the direction of my room. It's getting late, after all, so maybe I will just talk to Don in the morning.
~"SOMEONE HELP," MY VOICE wants to call out, but no sound is made. "Help," my mind pleads out more, a now deathly pain washing over my body. "Please..."
"Please..."
~MY EYES FALL OPEN TO A dark room: my room. Slowly, a tear passes down my cheek, and my body begins to tremble. No longer can I remember what I was dreaming about, but whatever it was, it spooked me shitless.
What time is it?
Shakily, I sit myself out of bed and look over at the clock.
Two thirty-eight.
Sighing, I flop back down onto my bed and shut my eyes.
That's so weird, I start to think. I don't remember falling asleep.
"Shit!"
It's like I manipulate time and teleport to the light switch, flicking it on in only a second. There, standing beside my bedside, an underclass vampire stands. Wedged into my pillow is a silver knife, firmly in his grasp.
"You're quick," the underclass laughs out, removing the knife from my pillow.
"Why are you here," I ask, no longer wishing to play this game pf questions. "Honestly, I really don't care. Right now, I just want to sleep."
"Oh, ho ho!" His voice is even irritating. "Don't worry, Pureblood Princess, you'll get your sleep. Your eternal sleep."
The underclass runs at me, knife in hand. He's pretty damn fast, I have to admit, but not fast enough.
Faster, I'm able to teleport, and faster I am able to take his life. My hand pierces the back of his body and grabs his heart. In that moment, I can hear his old, human should finally sigh out, being broken of its curse.
Really, I do pity under classes. Humans, taken away from their lives. Truly, it is sad.
Before I rip out this underclass' heart, killing it, there is one thing I must know.
"Who is your master?" For a moment, there is nothing. Then, before me, the underclass breaks out into hysterics.
"Do you honestly think I would tell you that? You really are just as dumb as he said!"
"He?" His laughs are cut short, and mine begin. "I am truly sorry this happened to you, but-" there, I rip out his heart, him falling lifeless before me- "I can't have you killing me, yet."
A ring of silence fills the room and the smell of tainted blood fills the room. I stare down at my blood soaked hand, licking it once, but almost barfing in disgust.
"Gross," I gag out, As I stare around at my blood-soaked floor, then my ruined pillow, I let out a disapproving sigh.
"Guess I have to get someone to clean this up," I mumble under my breath.
