Will and Amelia were currently in the midst of a very awkward make-out session. it was awkward for two reasons. The first being that Amelia had knocked her drink over in the process of climbing on top of Will, as she had over-estimated how high she would have to get her leg and knocked the glass over with her foot, soaking herself and Will in the process. The wet t-shirts they were both wearing stuck to each-other as Am subtly tried to detach them without looking like she didn't want to be this close to Will (because Amelia REALLY wanted to be this close to Will. if she could die right now, she would. this would definitely be a good memory to go out with) The second reason it was awkward was because although neither would ever admit it, they had no idea what they were doing. Will had kissed plenty of girls before, but never one that he really liked. if he did something wrong, like, if he accidentally bit Amelia's lip, he'd never forgive himself. He was too crazy about her to let everything go wrong after he'd worked so hard on getting her to like him. The problem was worse for Amelia since she had never really kissed like this before. She hated her last boyfriend, he only wanted her for one thing (and that definitely wasn't kissing) so she was timid and kind of just going along with what Will appeared to be doing. He was kissing her softly, and then firmly pressing his lips to hers once again, varying the pressure of the kiss.
Will suddenly pulled back from the kiss, gently re-positioning Amelia so that she wasn't sitting directly in his lap. Amelia blushed and looked down, noticing Will had a slight tent on the front of his skinny jeans. I've given him that, she thought to herself, letting out a giggle as Will covered it with a pillow. she pulled it back from him, wanting to remember the first (and probably the last) time she'd gotten a boy this excited. she was about to reach for the pillow once again when her phone vibrated, signalling that she was getting a call from someone. Amelia sighed and ignored it, moving her head back down to Wills and resuming the awkward kissing once more. she had just lost herself in the kiss once more when her phone went off again. "Am, just answer it. it's fine" Will laughed, running his hands up and down her sides as she huffed, pulling the phone out of her jacket that was discarded on the floor.
she looked at the caller ID, and upon seeing it was Charlie, became more excited rather than angry. she smiled before quickly answering the call before it went off.
"Charlie!" Amelia squealed as soon as they were on the call. since Will and Amelia had been a couple, the daily Skype sessions had been reduced to monthly, and she kept on forgetting to reply to his messages since Will was constantly bombarding her with them. "Ameliaaaaa" she heard from the other side of the phone, making her giggle. "I have a question. and a favour to ask." Charlie said, suddenly sounding a lot more serious than he usually did. Amelia's smile faltered as Charlie explained that his parents had kicked him out of the house for taking drugs. "Oh my god Charlie, you are such an idiot. where are you now?" she asked, pacing the living room as Will followed behind her, squeezing her hand at appropriate times. "Oh. I'm outside your house" Charlie said, making Amelia scream lightly as she hung up.
"Babe... is everything ok? where are you going?" Will asked, still holding on to her hand as she yanked open the front door, pulling Will outside into the cold as well. "Charlie, my best friend from London, is here, in Brighton. right now.outside my house." she said, pulling him to her front door, where a tall figure was bending down to get under the arched doorway out of the way of the rain. "Charlie, is that you?" Amelia said as they got closer. the person turned around. it was definitely Charlie, but he looked a lot different to the last time she saw him. "Oh my god, Charlie, what the fuck happened to you?" Amelia cried, pulling him under the street light to get a better look at his bruises and cuts. "Nah, it's nothing. it was my dad again, Am. You know what he's like" Charlie said, pushing away his best friends prodding hands as he noticed they weren't alone. "You must be Will. Amelia's told me a lot about you" Charlie said, holding a hand out for Will to shake. Will ignored the hand, and instead kissed Amelia on the cheek, telling her he'd call her later on before going back in the direction of his house.
"WELL THEN. he's certainly Mr Sunshine, ain't he?" Charlie exclaimed, as soon as Will was out of earshot. Amelia laughed as she shoved him, before going to open the front door. "Laugh all you want, Delgardo. he's really sweet and actually cares about me" she giggled, letting Charlie in and stepping through after him. She stood in the hallway, watching Charlie make Mac and Cheese for them both whilst dancing around to the Arctic Monkeys playlist they had both made years ago. just like old times, she thought to herself. things couldn't go bad from here. not now. not when everything was so, well, perfect.
