Chapter 16

It had been two weeks since the incident with Will. Amelia had avoided talking to anyone since it happened, and barricaded herself in her room, only coming out for food. Charlie was still living with her, and he and her family were getting more and more worried as the day she went by. "Amelia. Will you please come out, love? We are all worried about you" her dad called through the door, attempting to tug on the handle before discovering it was locked. "Dad, I'm fine, there's no need to worry" she replied, snuffling at the end due to the amount of crying she had done recently. "Baby, it's been TWO WEEKS since that idiot cheated on you. Let's go out and do something, take your mind off him" her dad suggested, starting to loose all hope of Am ever getting over Will. He leaned back on the door, when it suddenly flew open, causing him to fall back. "Oops, sorry dad. I'm going to shower and then we'll go do something, ok?" Amelia said, before rushing into the bathroom and slamming the door behind her. "That girl is crazy" her dad said, before proceeding to go downstairs and tell Charlie everything was fine.

Amelia had just finished getting ready when she heard a knock on her door. She opened it, revealing Charlie. She had been feeling different about him recently, and her heart fluttered the sight of him in his black ripped jeans and white t-shirt. He gave Amelia his signature half smile before stepping inside the room and flopping back onto her bed. Amelia giggled and flopped down next to him. "Hey am?" Charlie said, turning his head towards her. "Yeah Charlie?" She said, smiling as she turned to face him. He started to move his head towards her slightly, and pressed his lips against her's.
