Taking care of the Ultimate Life Form

A/N: This is the sequel to the Shadamy one-shot: Sick Days. Hope you enjoy!

Amy Rose woke up that morning and saw that her black and crimson streaked boyfriend was still asleep next to her but just as she was about to get out of their bed, she felt two strong black and crimson streaked arms wrap around her waist.

"Where do you think you're going, Rose?" The ebony hedgehog asked with a smile on his face

"To go make us breakfast." The cherry pink hedgehog said with a smile on her face as she kissed her black and crimson streaked boyfriend on his tan muzzle.

As she did this, she felt that his face was warm the Amy put her hand on his head and felt that it was warm. The black and crimson streaked hedgehog saw that his pink flower had a concerned look in her emerald green eyes.

"Amy, are you alright?" The ebony hedgehog said with a concerned tone.

"Yes, Shadow I'm alright but your face is warm." She said as put her hand on his.

The cherry pink hedgehog remembered that when she was sick, her ebony lover took her temperature; She went into their bathroom, got it and walked over to where their bed was. Once she got her black and crimson streaked boyfriends temperature which was 99.8. She was about grab the bed sheets and put them on her ebony lover but he put his hand on her arm before she could.

"Rose, I'm alright. Let me make us breakfast." The black and crimson streaked hedgehog said as he got out of bed.

"Shadow, I love you and I want to take care of you like a certain black and crimson streaked hedgehog took care of myself." Amy said as she wrapped her arms around him.

The ebony hedgehog knew that he had taken care of her when she was sick; he wrapped his arms around the cherry pink hedgehogs waist and kissed her on her peach muzzle. After they had walked down the stairs Amy got out two packets of muffins which consisted of strawberry muffins -her personal favorite- and chocolate chip muffins, got started on making them and once they were done, she got the muffins out of the pan, put the muffins on a plate and put the plate with the muffins on it on the table and the two hedgehogs sat down at the table and ate their breakfast.

"These are delicious, Rose." The black and crimson streaked hedgehog said as he ate one of the strawberry muffins.

Amy had a smile on her peach muzzle and said "Thank you, but I had help from a certain black and crimson streaked hedgehog."

After they had finished eating their breakfast, the cherry pink hedgehog saw that her ebony lover was on the couch with one of their blankets. She got out the medicine, poured into the plastic bottle and walked over to where he was located.

"Here," Amy said as she handed him the plastic bottle "This will make you feel better."

Shadow took it and once he did, the ebony hedgehog looked over at his cherry pink colored girlfriend with a loving smile on his tan muzzle and said "Thank you, Rose for making us the delicious breakfast and for making sure I feel better."

"Anything for my Ultimate Life Form." Amy said with a warm loving smile on her peach muzzle.

-1 hr later-

The cherry pink hedgehog woke up and saw that she had fallen asleep on the couch in her black and crimson streaked boyfriends strong arms; she looked at his sleeping face and saw that he looked adorable when he was sleeping. The cherry pink hedgehog carefully got out her ebony lovers arms and went into the kitchen as she did this, she looked at the picture that was on the table next to the couch it was of her and Shadow. They were at the park underneath a tree that had pink flowers on it the black and crimson streaked hedgehog had his hand on the cherry pink hedgehogs waist and was looking at her with a loving smile on his face and in his crimson eyes.
