The protector

Amy Rose had just finished another long day at work and was in the middle of walking over to where she had parked her car. Just as the pink hedgehog had opened the front door to the building, her emerald green eyes looked up and saw that it was pouring down; the Sakura colored hedgehog knew that didn't have anything to protect her from the bad weather, but before she could take a step. The cherry pink hedgehog fainted and everything went black.

Meanwhile a black and crimson streaked hedgehog was in the middle of driving down the street, when his crimson eyes looked over; saw that a pink hedgehog had fainted and was unconscious. The ebony hedgehog immediately went over to her, picked her up off the floor bridal style, walked over to his car; and put the Sakura colored hedgehog in the front passenger seat.

A few hours later at the black and crimson streaked hedgehogs house. Amy woke up and saw that she wasn't at work, the pink hedgehog wasn't aware that there was another presence until her ears perked up to a husky voice.

"You're awake."

"W-what happened? I remember fainting and everything went black." The cherry pink hedgehog explained as she looked over at him.

"Yes, and what were you doing walking in weather like this?" The ebony hedgehog asked with an arched brow.

"I was walking to where my car was parked."

"It's not safe for you to walk by yourself." The black and crimson streaked hedgehog said.

"Thank you for making sure I was safe." The Sakura colored hedgehog stated "but what were you doing in this weather?"

The ebony hedgehog looked over at her and answered "I was driving to my house, when I saw that you were unconscious."

Amy looked over at her arm and saw where it hit the floor. As she did this, Shadow saw this and went to go get the things for treatment; a few minutes later, the pink hedgehog saw what he had in his hand and a concerned look on her peach muzzle.

"Don't worry, this will help you feel better." The black and crimson streaked hedgehog explained as he sat down on the couch next to her.

The cherry pink hedgehog knew that she trusted what the ebony hedgehog said; as he treated her arm, Shadow's ears perked up to the Sakura colored hedgehog whimpering. A few minutes later once the black and crimson streaked hedgehog had treated the pink hedgehog, his ears perked up to her voice.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome-"

"Amy, Amy Rose." The cherry pink hedgehog answered.

The ebony hedgehog looked over at her and said "Shadow, Shadow the Hedgehog."

Because it was still pouring down. The Sakura colored hedgehog knew that she couldn't go to her house; the black and crimson streaked hedgehog saw this and said "Amy?"

"Yes?" The pink hedgehog stated with an arched brow.

"Are you alright?" The ebony hedgehog asked with his crimson eyes filled with concern.

"No, I need a place to stay for the night."

"You can stay here." The black and crimson streaked hedgehog said.

The cherry pink hedgehog had a smile on her face when he said that. But just as she put her arm on the couch, the Sakura colored hedgehog whimpered; Shadow's ears perked up and had concerned look in his eyes.

"You need to have your arm checked by a doctor."

"It's alright," The pink hedgehog stated "my arm will be fine in the morning to go to work."
