Chapter 22

Riley's POV
"Shawn where are we?" I asked.

"The Canadian border."

"You mean..."

"Yep. I'm taking you to my hometown." He said smiling.

"Are you parents okay with this?" He nodded.

"They're ready to meet the girl who has taken over my social media and stolen my heart." He said.

"I love you."

"I love you too princess."

Rydel's POV
We just finished the show and I feel so bad. Last time this happened, I wasn't there for Riley. This time I wasn't there for her either. I'm such a bad sister. Wait... Last time. "Shit." I muttered under my breath.

"Del, you alright?" Riker asked. I ignored them and ran Riley's dressing room. It was empty.

"No." I whispered and ran to the bus. I flung open the door and ran to Riley's bunk. All of her stuff is gone. I found a note on her bunk. I unfolded it and started reading.
Dear everyone,
I'm sorry I had to do this again I love you all and that will never change. Rydel, Ellington, Grace, and Nahele thanks for being there for me and loving me always. Roxane, Ross, Rocky, Ryland, and Riker goodbye forever you got your wish I'll never speak to you again. I'm sorry I was ever born. Goodbye guys, I love you.

"NOOOOOO!" I screamed and fell to the ground. I was sobbing. I heard everyone run in.

"Rydel what's wrong what happened?" Ell asked kneeling next to me.

"S-She's g-g-gone." I choked out. "I-I lost m-my little s-sister a-again." I whispered. He wrapped his arms around me and I sobbed into his chest. Someone put there hand in my shoulder. I looked up and saw Roxane. Rage bubbled up inside me. "You! You did this. You made her run away. You revealed who she really was! She wasn't ready! She was going to tell them when she was ready! I knew who she was and so did Ell, but we didn't care. I finally got her back and then you came and ruined it!!!" I yelled.

"Rydel calm down." Ryland said.

"NO! I just lost my sister again. You guys made her feel worthless! All you ever cared about was Roxane never Riley! You just told her that you wish she was never your sister!!!" I was furious. Ell was holding onto my waist, he knew I was mad and I knew he was too.

"It's Riley's fault! She's the one who keeps running away!" Ryland yelled.

"OH REALLY?! SHE KEEPS RUNNING BECAUSE SHE FEELS LIKE SHE NEEDS TO!!! YOU GUYS ARE TERRIBLE TO HER AND WISH SHE NEVER EXISTED!!!" I was shaking with rage.

"She deserves it!!!" Rocky yelled.

"Yeah she was terrible to Roxane!!!" Ross agreed.

"EVERYBODY QUIET!!!" Roxane yelled. We all became silent and looked at her. "Riley was never terrible to me. She showed me nothing but love. I was the one terrible to her. I tricked all of you except Rydel into thinking I was an angel who could do no wrong, and Riley was the devil who kept trying to hurt me. When really I was the devil." She said on the verge of tears.

"Roxane what are you saying?" Riker asked.

"I tried to kill Riley in Hawaii that year. She told you guys the truth. She never lied. All of it was true." She said breaking down in tears.

"So you mean all those stories of abuse Riley would tell, were true?" Ross asked. Roxane nodded.

"Oh my god." The boys said in unison.

"What have we done?" Riker asked.

"I told her I wished she was never my sister." Ryland said.

"I was terrible to her." Rocky said.

"I wouldn't even look at her." Ross said. They all had tears streaming down their faces.

"We're terrible siblings." Riker said.

"Wait Roxane, why did you try to kill her?" Ratliff asked once everyone calmed down.

"When I was little, we would go to school everyone would tell me she was the better twin. The prettier twin. The smarter twin. The more talented twin. They told me that you guys loved her more. Eventually it all got too much. All of what people we're saying got to my head and soon became a mental illness. My mind was telling me that the only way I could be happy was to make her miserable. In my mind it was Riley's fault I was going through this, but it wasn't. Riley never knew any of this was happening. I wish I could go back and change everything, but I can't." She said breaking down in tears. All of my anger disappeared, and I ran to her and hugged her tight. She looked up at me.

"R-Rydel?" I could tell she was confused.

"Everyone deserves a second chance."

"I've really messed up Rydel." She said still crying.

"I know little sis, but we all messed up. Maybe we could still fix it."

"But how?" Riker asked from behind me.

"I don't know yet." I said. Just then Grace, Jayci, Nahele, Kayla, Ryan, and Brooke.

"Hey have you guys seen Shawn?" Nahele asked. Oh my god, that's how she got away she left with Shawn.

"What happened? What's going on?" Grace asked.

"Oh my god, you didn't know?" Ryland asked.

"Know what?" She asked obviously confused.

"Grace, Riley's gone. She packed up all her stuff and left." I told her. I could see the hurt on her face.

"What?"

"It's true." Ell said passing her the note. She read it and broke down in tears. Ryland stepped towards her.

"We really messed up Grace, can you help us fix it?"

"I don't know." She said.

"Nahele, Jayci your plane tickets are for tomorrow right?" They nodded.

"Jay can I use your ticket to go back and look for her?"

"Of course."

"I'm going to go pack up." Grace said walking to her bunk. Nahele went with her and the other girls went to their boyfriends. We just sat there in silence for awhile, when an idea came to my head.

"Guys I know how to fix things."

"How?" They all asked.

"Call Clevver. It's time to tell the world about Riley."

Ooh how is everybody going to react????Hey guys I know I'm late with the update but I have a good reason. My best friend was in the hospital for a few days and I was so worried about her I wasn't focused enough to write. She was released Friday evening, so I spent yesterday and this morning finishing this update. Anyway now it's time for recommendation of the week.
