Chapter 24

Riley's POV
*** About a week later.***
I was sitting on the couch with Shawn and Aaliyah watching a movie when an idea came to my head. "Hey baby, why don't we go to Hawaii. We both need to work on our music and there's a studio there. I'm friends with the governor I can pretty use it whenever."

"That sounds like a great idea."

"Liyah want to come with us?"

"I would, but I don't want to be third wheeling on your "romantic" getaway to Hawaii." She said with a smirk.

"Liyah!" I exclaimed slightly blushing.

"What? I don't want to hear you two banging each other in the other room."

"OH MY GOD AALIYAH SHUT UP!!!" Shawn yelled. Both of us were probably tomato red at this point. She just laughed.

"Love you guys!" She smiled. Shawn and I just laughed and hugged her.

"Anyway babe you should start packing I'm going to call Steve and tell him we're coming." He nodded and kissed my cheek before heading to his room. I took out my phone and called Steve.

S- McGarrett
R- Hey Steve, long time huh?
S- Riley?!
R- Yeah it's me.
S- Oh my god, Riley we were so worried. When Grace came back without you and said that you packed up and left we thought we'd never see you again.
R- There's no way I could leave you guys. You're Ohana. I was actually in Canada with Shawn.
S- Shawn? As in Shawn Mendes?!
R- Yeah we haven't told the public yet but we're dating.
S- Congratulations.
R- Mahalo. Anyway I was thinking of coming back to Hawaii with Shawn to work on some new music. Would that be okay?
S- Of course. You and Shawn can stay in your room here.
R- Thanks. Also could you not tell Grace, I want to surprise her.
S- Okay. Have you gotten your plane tickets yet?
R- I was about to buy them. Why?
S- Just wondering. Anyway I have to get back to work so I'll talk to you soon.
R- bye.
I ended the call and purchased the tickets. We leave for Hawaii tomorrow. I went upstairs and packed my stuff. As much as I love it here I can wait to go back to my home in Hawaii. Even though the aren't family by blood, they are definitely Ohana in my heart.
***Skip to when they land in Hawaii***
We just got off the plane in Hawaii and let me tell you, it's good to be back. I looked around and found Steve. "Riley!" He called.

"Steve!" I said and ran to hug him. "God I missed you."

"Missed you too Ri." We separated from the hug and I grabbed Shawn's hand.

"Steve this is Shawn. Shawn this is Steve McGarrett."

"Nice to meet you sir." Shawn said and held out his hand. Steve took and they shook hands.

"Nice to meet you too Shawn. Treat her right, you hear me?"

"Yes sir." Shawn said. We grabbed our things and headed out to the car.

"Riley the whole team is having lunch at Kamekona's. Grace and Nahele are going to be there."

"Yes! Believe it or not I've missed Kamekona's food."

"He'd be happy to here that." Steve said. I turned to look at Shawn and he looked extremely confused.

"Kamekona is a friend he owns a shrimp truck that we go to all the time." He nodded meaning he understood. After about 5 minutes we pulled up to the truck. Everybody else was already there. Grace had her back turned to me. The team saw me walking up to them but I put my finger over my lips telling them to be quiet. Steve beat me to the table and sat down. I heard them start talking.
