Beating Eggman! Part 2!

It took us a few minutes to get to Eggman's base and it looked like the government had already started an attack on his base! Laser beams and missiles blasted towards us, Tails took most of em' out whilst me and Sonic dealt with any that got too close, Tails then shot a hole in the wall "hey guys will that be ok?" He asked "perfect!" I answered before me and Sonic jumped off and entered the base "ok, let's get those emeralds and go" I told him, we ran through the base searching for the two emeralds Eggman had here somewhere. We ran down a corridor and also into a group of bots "this should be a piece of cake" he chuckled, we took out the robots with a few homing attacks and kept running to find the emeralds. We smashed through a door and was met with another one. "That's as far you two go. It was a fluke that you pushed it this far but now your lucky streaks are over" he said before walking towards us in his mech bot. "You ready pipsqueaks?" Egghead asked "you bet" we both laughed before dodging the mech's kick attack, we dodged more attacks before getting kicked into a wall, Egghead's robot punched us again and kept us squished between the wall and the metal fist! "We've gotten outta tighter squeezes," Sonic told Eggman. "That's true but this time you've finally met your match. E-18 is the ultimate combat robot because it's got the ultimate power supply, two Chaos Emeralds!" Eggman cackled before a phone started ringing from his Egg mobile.

Whilst he was distracted me and Sonic pushed against the metal hand until we had enough room to escape. We charged through the robot and Sonic grabbed the Chaos Emeralds! Using their power we destroyed the robot and began destroying the base from the inside at supersonic speed! We landed back on the X Tornado and headed back home! We came back victorious! Three emeralds to Eggman's zero! I wonder if the yellow emerald will show me another memory? We just finished dinner and everyone wanted to see the Chaos Emerald so I headed to Chuck's workspace and everyone was there except Chris, Chuck, Mr Tanaka and Ella. "Oh hey Y/N" Tails laughed "hi guys!" I smiled "do you need anything?" Amy asked "oh well, I just wanted to see if the yellow emerald would show me another memory, but if you're using it I can come back later," I told them "no it's ok, you can use it now," Sonic told me before handing me the emerald.

FLASHBACK!

Me, Maria and that other person were running down a corridor. I was holding Maria's hand and the other person was in front, we kept running until we got surrounded by soldiers. The mysterious person took out the soldiers in front clearing us a path "I'll buy you some time now go!" They told me, I nodded and we kept on running, we got to the escape pod room but before we made it in another soldier appeared behind us, they fired their gun and I knocked them out before they could shoot again. I got Maria in the room and the other person came in soon after. I looked at Maria and realised she had been shot "Maria, you're hurt" I cried, she fell down but I held her, the other person crouched next to her "I-I'm ok. Can you two help me stand?" She asked, we both helped her up and when she was fully standing up she pushed us towards the escape pod pads, the pods closed us in and Maria limped over to the control panel.

Present!

The memory ended and I handed the emerald back to Sonic. "Are you ok?" Sonic asked "y-yeah I'm fine. I-I've got homework to do, I'll see you guys later" I said before speeding off to my room. I sat on my bed and began crying, why didn't I attack the soldier before he used his gun?! Maria wouldn't have got shot, she'd be ok then wouldn't she?! She'd still be alive! "M-Maria. I-I'm so sorry" I cried, there was a knock at my door. I wiped my eyes "come in" I mumbled it was Cream and Cheese, they looked at me and looked sad. "What's wrong Cream? You look sad" I said "you've been crying again," she said and started silently crying "Cream....don't cry," I said soothingly I picked her up at put her on my lap and brushed my fingers through her trying to calm her down. Cheese nuzzled me, "I-I don't like it when you or my other friends are sad" she cried "I know" I mumbled "I-I got you something today. Ella went shopping and I went with her, I saw this in one of the stores and I wanted to get it for you," she said before giving me a blue fox plushie. "Cream-" "I got it for you so if you ever need a hug and there's no one around you'll always have something to hug" she smiled "thank you, I love it Cream," I told her and gave her a big hug "I'm happy to hear that, so what will you name it?" She asked me curiously "Oh, um I'm not quite sure. Why don't you name it, you're better at coming up with names than I am" laughed "ok......what about......Mr Fox?" She suggested "that sounds like a great name! Mr Fox, it is" I laughed "Y/N if you don't mind can me and Cheese sleep in here with you tonight? We want to make sure you don't have any sad dreams whilst your sleeping so can we?" Cream asked "I don't see why not," I said, she giggled and ran off when she came back she was in her adorable bunny pyjamas. She climbed in bed next to me "goodnight Y/N, goodnight Cheese, goodnight Mr Fox" she yawned before falling asleep. "Goodnight Cream" I smiled, I quietly got ready for bed myself and turned all the lights off before climbing into bed. Cream and Cheese snuggled closer to me and I too fell asleep.
