The Fifth Emerald is Found!

We had arrived at Mystic Ruins once again. The Master Emerald shone brightly as we neared one of the ancient buildings. "It must be in here, how many pieces are left?" I asked Knuckles "well we're close to Angel Island so after we get this piece we'll go back and see." Once we were inside, we saw a shard of the Master Emerald above us on a tower. "All right" I grinned. We both climbed the tower, Knuckles grabbed the shard and another bright light engulfed us before a vision began. "Where are we now?" It was the Master Emerald shrine from the past again. We walked closer and saw Tikal and several Chao at the base of the shrine. "I'm very frightened, Chaos. Help us! The invaders are coming; we must leave!" Tikal cried to the shrine, the pools of water at the bottom rippled and Tikal spoke once again. "...Yes, I understand. We may flee, but you must stay here." The Chao around her started to become sad, it looks like they're fond of Chaos. "Don't worry. I promise everything is going to be fine" Tikal assured them, turning their frowns upside down as the Chao started singing to Tikal before guiding her to the top of the shrine.

She looked up at the seven Chaos Emeralds in awe before reaching the Master Emerald. "Now I know who brought me here, it was you!" She folded her hands together. "There's something important that you want to tell me. I understand the servers are the seven chaos. The controller serves to unify the chaos. The controller serves to unify the chaos...It is you! You control the seven Chaos Emeralds!" With another flash of white, the vision came to an and we were now at the Master Emerald shrine in our time. The Master Emerald shards joined together but there was still some missing. The Master Emerald showed us the Egg Carrier. "Maybe it's a warning. Eggman must be up to something dangerous" Knuckles pointed out. "Well yeah, that's obvious...It could also be where the last part of Master Emerald is. Let's go investigate!" Perfectly timed, the Egg Carrier flew overhead. "Y/N! Knuckles! Goin our way?" It was Sonic and Tails in the Tornado X! We got on and Tails started to chase Eggman. We hung onto the plane's wings as Tails dodged Eggman's attacks. With the Tornado X's new transformation Tails had installed, taking out Eggman's weapons was a piece of cake, however. It didn't have any landing gear so our landing on the Egg Carrier was less than smooth.

"Let's go!" I grinned "right!" Tails smiled but of course Sonic ran ahead of us "later guys!" The weapons on the deck reactivated and started firing away, mostly directed at Sonic. I bashed the canons that were closer to me, a missile hit the deck and created a hole. "I'll meet up with you later. Now's my chance to search for the rest of that Master Emerald!" Knuckles told us before leaping down, Sonic had come rushing back to us, the canons all destroyed. "C'mon you two and I can look for Amy, let's go before they launch another attack" he chuckled before we headed inside, Tails filled me in on the situation. Chaos now had four Chaos Emeralds, Eggman had kidnapped Amy which is why they were here. We completely trashed any robots that got in our way until we found Amy and a little blue burd cornered by Eggman, Bocoe and Decoe. "Oh, Eggman? Don't you think you oughta pick on somebody your own size?" Sonic smirked, Amy's eyes sparkled with happiness at the sight of the blue-haired boy. "You did come...Get out of my way!"
With renewed determination, she hammered Eggman and his hench-bots away, then slammed her hammer onto the wall, causing us to fall onto Eggman. "We gotcha. Give up?" I laughed "I guess so..." he grumbled before Decoe extended a claw to capture the small bird. I didn't notice before but there was a small box hanging around its neck, there was something blue inside it. "No! Lily!" "Let her go, Decoe!" As Amy tried to retrieve Lily, Eggman got up and approached Lily. "Boys, keep your eyes on the birdie" he grinned before pushing away Amy and grabbing the collar. "Let's have it. You won't be needing this. Nice birdie..." He opened it up and took out the fifth Chaos Emerald! "Not good..."

Decoe released the bird as another of Eggman's robots showed up. "Did you call, Dr Eggman? What is your wish?" It was different from the rest, maybe a new series of robots? "Ah Gamma! How about a bit of target practice?" He cackled, Gamma pointed its gun at Sonic and opened fire but of course Sonic was way too fast, with Gamma distracted I rushed over to Eggman so I could get the Chaos Emerald back. "Not so fast girly!" Missiles fired from Eggman's eggmobile, I dodged them easily as Gamma began ripping chunks of the ship apart. "Sonic used the chunk of the ship to block Gamma's lasers, then kicked it at Gamma. As Sonic landed, he kicked another chunk at Gamma. Gamma crashed hard on the ground, Amy stood in front of Gamma trying to protect it? "Leave him alone, Sonic!" "This doesn't concern you, Amy. Stay out of the way!" Amy continued to argue as I spin dashed into Eggman sending him flying to the other side Egg Carrier but I forgot about the Emerald. "He's the one who set us free" Amy continued and Sonic gave up. "Okay, if you say so. A friend of yours is a friend of-" he was cut off by the Egg Carrier exploding. "Hey! You guys! The ship, I have a feeling we're losing altitude and Eggman got away!" Tails panicked "no sweat; I'll take care of him. You all find a way to get off of this thing" Sonic smiled before jumping off, after Eggman, Amy and Gamma talked briefly before the robot left, Tails carried the both of us off the Egg Carrier and towards the ground where Chuck was waiting with the car. Little did we know Sonic and Knuckles were now battling Chaos who now had six Chaos Emeralds and now it was a race for the last one!
