THE POPULAR AND BADBOY

Chapter 1

Maura's Pov

“MAURA..WAKE UP..you’re going to be late !!”

 yeah.yeah.yeah. thats my mom shouting outside my door while  knocking loudly . While my phone is buzzing telling me that it’s already 6 am.urghhh I hate mornings., you know why?? It’s because I love Sleeping.. If I could only skip class, but hey I also love school.

“yeah, i’m already awake mom”..that’s my line every morning. I’m still laying in my bed when I heard my father shouting with another loud Knock.

“MAURA. I’m going to leave you now if you don’t get up and get ready.”

Getting up from my bed I went straight to the bathroom stomping to get a hot shower, then wearing my favorite shirt and skirt and getting ready to leave with my father without eating breakfast.

On our way to school I texted my best friends Arthelene, Khaye, and Jane they  replied immediately saying that they will wait me at the gate

Arthelene has a long black hair. She is the tallest of us four, well I’m small but I’m contented with my height. Her mother is one of the teachers. A Science teacher to be specific, I like her but sometimes she’s so demanding. Back to my best friends, we all became friends the day our opening started. She always stays with me us. the three of us hass a black hair while Jane has a Brown hair. We are all part of the dance club. We hate it when someone is staring at us specially the girls we hate, but we were used to it because we are popular. Everybody is afraid of us except for one group, the group of Kian Fitzerberg, the soccer players of the school.

Grabbing our own food we paid it and went to our first class .The bell rings indicating that the first subject is about to start. Entering our room I saw our classmates sitting at their own chairs. Sitting in my assigned chair, my sit mate Chase one of Kian's friend talked to me.

"Good morning Maura, do you have idea what we will do today?....blah..blah..blah..."

 Sometimes it’s so annoying that he is my sit mate, he asked too many questions.

I glared at him while saying “ Shut up. Why don’t you ask your friends not me?”

"somebody is not in the mood" he said laughing and nudging me.

Our first class and second class finished normally. After our class we went straight to the canteen to grab snack. The canteen is crowded again but I managed to grab a Snack without bumping someone. While I’m waiting in the line to the cashier someone touched my shoulder, I turn to look if it is one of my friends but it’s one of the students. KIAN FITZERBERG.

            “ and why are you touching me?”I asked him angrily, glaring at him.I hate to be touched especially by boys.

            “uhmm..hi to you too miss popular.”

He said with a smirk in his lips. Why do they need to annoy me? I’m about to answer him when Arthelene called me. Paying my snack and walking to where my friends are standing they noticed my change of mood.

“is anything bad happened?” Jane asked me

"urgggghhh....there is  a boy who touched me, then I asked him why he touched me then he just said "hai to you too miss popular". he didn't even apologised. and he even smiled at me. that is why i'm so angry right now. and guess who is it???." my blood is boiling while I tell them what happened and quoting what he said. not realising that the students around us is looking at me.I glared at them they walk away like nothing happened

“WHO??” They asked me while looking at me

“ KIAN FITZERBERG”

" just forget him, let’s just go to our next class, and hope you will not see him again" khaye told me smiling while eating her snack, while grace pull me with her. I so hate boys..And why is Khaye acting weird?

we entered our next class, our teacher is not in yet. When Our teacher entered she started the class. and I'm so bored taking down notes and listening to our class praying that it ends. The class ended slowly, our teacher telling story, i tried listening but i can’t manage to concentrate.

during our lunch, jane and khaye talk non-stop about their crushes. they dont seem to notice me so I decided to go to the bathroom with arthelene.

"hey cheer up." she said trying to cheer me but im not really in the mood. but I manage to  fake a smile for her. I washed my face to cool my madness off but it didn't help.im still mad. on our way back to the canteen I saw him again. I stopped and arthelene noticed me,

"uhm?? why did you stop?"

"oh.nothing lets just get back to the canteen" i said to her grabbing her hand and walking fast.

Our afternoon classes ended slowly. walking out with my friends, I bumped into someone else and the food went all over my favorite shirt. My friends is as shocked as I am that we just stared. I look at the person in front of me and then It's him again.

"It's you AGAIN???  look at what u did to my shirt. Why are you not watching where you're going?" I shouted at him angrily while my friends and hir friends Chase and Vince just stared at us.

"hey, you're the one not watching where you're going." he said to me with a smirk and just looked at me.Annoying

before I can answer he talked again with amusement in his eyes smiling

" ohh look whose here guys nice to see you again miss popular. "

"You’re going to pay for what you did" I told him stomping away from him and his friends.

I went home immediately without waiting for my dad and take a long bath trying to forget what happened today. But I’m curious why he is annoying me. But then I hate him for ruining my day. We don’t care about each other before. But why now? What’s with him?. I drifted to sleep because I'm so frustrated.

Kian’s pov

“You’re going to pay for what you did” she yelled at me because of ruining her shirt. I watch her and her friends walk away. I can’t believe I had an encounter with Miss Popular today twice. I smiled at myself. And a idea pop in my head.

“dude. Why did you do that to her?”  Vince asked me with a smile playing in his lips.

“well I didn’t mean to do that to her”

“maybe we can just leave them guys” Chase said

“Don’t tell us you’re afraid of her?”

“Of course not, it’s just that...never mind, bye guys. see you tomorrow:” chase said and then just walked away. What’s with him??

“well, see you tomorrow Vince” nodding I left him and went home.
