chapter 5- the present

Kian's Pov

After I gave her a ride back to their house, I went back at the party. the house is still full. I looked for her friends to tell them that she's already home. I saw vince talking to Khaye but Arthelene and Jane is nowhere to be see.

"hey, Khaye, where is arthelene and jane?"

"I dont really know Kian, I havent seen them yet, did you see Maura?"

"yah. she's home now, she asked me to give her a ride, she said she's not in the mood anymore" i said to both of them, not telling about what happened in the lake. Maura will be the one to tell them, i don't have the right to tell it.

"see you tommorow guys, i just came back to tell you that she's already home" i said to them

"thanks for giving her a lift Kian" Khaye said smiling

i went home, thinking about what happened at the lake. Why is she crying? Its seems that she has a big problem. I want to know the reason. Maybe its one of the reasons why he hate boys so much. Maybe its why she doesnt trust anybody, well except for her friends.or maybe even her friends dont know the reason.

Maura's Pov

i woke up because of my dream. Its the memory i dont want to remember again.. I looked at my clock and it tells that its 3 a.m. I tried to sleep

again,but i didnt fall asleep immediatly . I texted my friends and asked them if they are already home, but I didnt receive any reply from them. maybethey are already sleeping.

I remember Kian, he saw me crying. He also give me a ride back home. What if he will ask my friends? What if my friends tell him? What will he think about me? I slowly drifted back to sleep with many thoughts.

Update tommorow, its already midnight. And i have to wake up early..
