chapter two Shopping

Maura's pov

I woke up because of my phone buzzing non-stop, today is Tuesday, maybe this day will be better. getting up from bed I grab a Shirt and a jeans from my walking closet then went to the bathroom with my phone. after a hot shower I dried my hair and braided it. putting some lip gloss and mascara. while putting my shoes my phone buzzed. its a message from Jane.

WHERE ARE YOU?

i replied her 'GETTING READY FOR SCHOOL. SEE YOU THERE"

I walked down the stairs and saw my brother eating breakfast with my dad. i didn't saw him yesterday, even at school.He has a blue eyes,black hair, and his tall like my dad, I'm the smallest because I have the genes of my mom.

" goodmorning" I greeted them smiling sweetly.

"Good morning maura, you will have to ride with your brother today" dad said looking me then at my brother.

"but dad, he is not yet ready, I'm going to be late" i replied him grabbing some pancakes and a milk.

"dont be like that sissy, I know you miss me.besides your class today will start at 8;30, wait for me, i'll be ready in ten minutes" he said while walking in the stairs texting someone.

Okay maybe riding with him today is not a bad idea, besides we study at a same school. the ride to our school is silent, then I noticed that its a wrong way.

"hey, where are we going?"

"My friend need a ride, so we are going at his place first"

" okay" not asking more question who is his friend besides I will see his friend later.

"soooo.what happened yesterday?"my brother asked me trying to control to smile

"whatever, I don't want to talk about it, are we still far at your frineds place? " I said to him without looking at him. he just shruged and drived. i didn't notice that we reached his friends place then I heard a familiar voice.

" hai bro, you didn't tell me your with some chick' he said but I didn't look at them

".haha, thats my sister bro, not some chichk" my brother said laughing. they chat with other guys and they don't seem to notice the time

"Drake, will you and your friends get in now? im going to be late" I yelled at him so that i get his attention.

" okay, we're comin, hey Maura I want you to meet my friends, Chase, vince and Kian"

hearing their names , I looked at the back of the car, my jaw droped when I saw them smiling at me .looking at my brother I yelled at him "Why didn't you tell me that they are youre friends? I hate you"

they just looked at me a smile playing in their lips as we continue the ride to the school. What are they thinking? my day is ruined again.

Kian's pov

Muara, Muara is his sister, I looked at maura smiling during the ride she looked like shes going to jump at the car anytime because of what she found at. the ride is silent and I can't take my gaze of her. we reached the parking lot and the second that the car stops she get out of the car stomping away. well Its normal I ruined her shirt yesterday,

"Drake, she doesn't know that we are youre friends?" i asked drake the moment shes gone of my sight.

smiling, he answered me while getting his things in his car "nah..I didnt tell her, 'coz I want to see her reaction"

" well, thanks for the ride, see you at lunch" Chase said at him nodding and walking straight at our loker. we saw her with her friends.

vince walked straight at their group "hai girls"

'oh hai vince' Khaye answered him while putting some of her things in her locker.

" so, are you girls coming to the party tonight?

" we didn't told maura yet, but yeah we are coming, thanks for inviting us." turning her attention to maura who didn't seem to notice us because of her earphones. "hey maura" she shouted at her getting her attention.

Muara's Pov

" hey maura" khaye shouted at me,

"ah? yeah? what is it this time Khaye?"

" I was wondering if you want to come at the party tonight? Jane and Arthelene said their coming. "

i just stared at my friends while answering " okay, I will come what time is it?

" it will start at 7 p.m, we will just come in your house to get you."

"fine, whatever you want Khaye"

" see you tonight girls" Vince said at us waving.

"don't tell me that he is the one having the party tonight" i said at the three of them while walking to our first class.

"hmm, yeah he is, and there is no backing out now" jane answered me with a wide smile in her face while sitting at my side.

during at lunch, at I saw my brother sitting with the group of Kian, i mad an eye to eye contact with kian and just stared at me with his signature smirk.

"we only have one class for this afternoon, what are we going to do?" arthelene asked us while eating her fries

"lets go shopping,"

Khaye said her voice full of excitement. we all agreed. thinking that maybe I need to buy a dress for the party tonight and t's been long since the last time we went shopping. After our class we went directly to the mall.. I did enjoyed the shopping and i'm in a good mood again, they told me that the party will start at 7 and they are coming at our house to get ready so I decided to take a nap while waiting for them. But i can't stop thinking what will Happen at the party.
