Intro
"I had a great life, once a long time ago." 80 year old Fire Lord Zuko explains to his middle age caretaker, "I fell in love once. And I mean REALL love. She was perfect in every way. You know what!", Zuko continues to explain, You get to here the story!"
His caretaker rolls her eyes and asked him how it happened. Then the truth came pouring out.
Ursa's POV
Ursa sat alone in her quarters remembering her past when her 7 year old son, Zuko, burst into to the room with a face so joyful you would think it would pop.
"Momma Momma! I just got that fire-bending move I have been working on, look look!!" And instantly fire flys across the room and transforms into a bunny and hops around the room. Young Zuko's face lights up almost like nothing else is in the world besides his mother, this bunny, and himself.
Ursa loved Zuko more than she loved Panda Lillies. He was the apple of her eye and had so much potential. She loved Zuko more that Azula for many reasons, but the main reason was because Zuko found the brightness in everything. Now her son looks up at her with a bright smile, ran up to her, hugged her, and whispered in her ear, "I love you," so softly that it tickles her ear.
Right then and there Ursa promised herself that Zuko will marry for love and not by force like she was. To this very day she wishes she would of said no to the Fire Lord's proposal. But she had Zuko to help her remember her past and the joy she once had in her life.
