Zuko's POV

"Soooo what do you like to do?" I asked the snow princess in hopes to start to get to know her.

"I like to serve my country and sew." she says as if it was rehearsed.

"Is that all?" I ask. My blood pressure is starting to rise because I know she is lying to me. She must be afraid of me and I hate when people are afraid of me without even getting to know me.

Instead of letting me in she responses coolly, "No, Crown Prince. That is all."

Her lying directly to my face caused me to ignite my fist and punch the pipe next to me. The beautiful princess's face flashes with terror then back to her emotionless front. This look said more than her words ever could. I realized that she has been around violence before and that she is truly putting up a front so I am not troubled with her problems.

I instantly I felt guilty for my inappropriate lash out. But before I could apologize. The icy princess had started walking down towards her private courters, leaving me to reflect on how I was to convince the water tribe treasure to trust me.

Yue's POV

I know he didn't mean to scare me. I knew that there was more to me than I was letting on. But I couldn't let him in. I cannot deal with being burned for sharing my feelings as I was with Hahn. I cannot risk putting myself through that pain again. So as I always do when I need advice I prayed to my Grandmother moon, Tui.

I started our conversation my saying,"Grandmother are you there."

As soon as I looked up a beautiful spirit with white hair such as mine and the bluest eyes I have ever seen appeared in the sky.

"Hello Grandma!" I responded joyfully.

She then nodded and motioned for me to kneel down in front of her and she then said to me, "My Yue. You must put your past behind you."

I nod feeling somewhat confused because I do not know if I will be able to. But then Tui continues sharing her wisdom with me.

"There is good in Zuko's heart. He can rid you of your broken past. He can get rid of your sorrow and help you feel truly happy again."

I shake my head knowing that a Prince with such horrid ancestry could not be my savior. But before I could speak Grandmother was going back towards the now fully bright moon. As she faded away she said, "Let him love you."

I reach out to touch the magical women as if I could bring her back down to me to answer my questions. But she was gone. Leaving me with more questions than could be answered. All of a sudden I here a loud knock at my door and I get up from my knees wondering who it could be.

Zuko's POV

There I am thinking how stupid it was of my to invade her space. I decide that I should just go back to my room just as the white haired beauty opened her door smiling at me as if she didn't remember me punching that pipe whatsoever. As I am thinking I notice a look of question on the princess's face and I realize I should probably say something.

I stutter out, "Uhhh, hi Princess." I clear my throat and said, "I would like to apologize for my violent behavior earlier. All I want is for you to feel at home in this difficult situation. Uhhh yeah." Not knowing what else to say I turn to go back to my room but Yue puts her hand on my shoulder.

Then she says, "Thank you. I appreciate your kindness and I really do feel like this could be the start of something good."

With this my hearts swells to twice its size.
