Chapter 1
Zuko's POV
I feel so lost. The only person I care about in the whole world is gone. Forever. Banished by my cruel father for a reason I do not yet know. People expect me to act like a future Fire Lord and except everything my dad does. I am only 12 years old and expected to already act like a Fire Lord. All I do is firebend, firebend, and firebend all day long. It is not even fun anymore. Also my dad is pressuring me to be perfect even though he knows I can't be. Some days I just want to be Zuko and not Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation.
Yue's POV
Sometimes I look at the moon and ask her for guidance. Guidance with dealing with my father or everyday life. I view the moon like a grandmother that has taught me everything I know, and has been everywhere. I am only 13 but Grandmother Moon was there with the first humans and shares with me their stories and the lessons they bring. I look towards the sky with my eyes watering and I ask her with the first stinging tears rolling down my cheek, "Moon please don't make me marry Han. I would do anything but marry him. He doesn't love me or even like me and I can't live like that. send me someone who will love me forever."
