Melico sighed, gazing around the halls in a orderly fashion. Skimming for faces who in her eyes she really had no interest in talking with. Then a voice loudly interrupted her thoughts.

"If it isn't miss I'm so smart I could kill you with my word," came the voice of one of the few bullies of the school.

"Honestly Oliver, do you think I care right now," Melico asked casting a glare towards Oliver.

"Listen," Oliver stated clearly not noticing the vast amount of warning signs that Melico was casting at him.
" I don't want your snark, I just want to know how someone as ugly as you could even have friends.

"And I want to know how someone as idiotic as you could understand the meaning of friends, like tell me your secret oh mighty friend Judge," Melico responded before turning and walking away to her group of people.

"Oooh someone's on their period," someone from Oliver's group called causing Melico to nearly turn around and deck the kid in the face, but she manged to calm herself down before continuing her stride.

She sighed again to herself, to be honest people can and will be jerks some are fairly easy to stand up to, well others are not so much.

Her friend group greeted her openly with smiles and kind words, only causing a smile in return.

"Don't mind Oliver he's just a idiot," Josh started.

"Yeah what Josh said," Benife quickly agreed with Josh's statement.

"Oh my god Benife stop agreeing with Josh all the fricken time," Lima stated looking slightly annoyed.

"I agree with Josh," Benife responded looking proud as hell.

"He didn't even... you know what, I hate you Benife hate you with the power of a thousand stars," Lima castes a small glare at Benife looking more pissed than usual.

"Nah you love me," Benife replied back with a self satiating smirk.

Lima responded with banging their head into the table and groaning something about murder.

Once again Melico smiled not caring about the chaos of lunch around her but instead caring about the joy and happiness that her friends brought to her. Why, because yes humans can be horrible monsters but you need to stick around for the people who make you smile just a bit longer.

Guys I just watched wonder women and let me tell you something it was amazing... also this is my longest one-shot yet at around 400 words for the chapter that's a record for me, so yay me I mean most of you probably don't care so um... hope you enjoyed and good-bye.
