'Four' walks towards me. " Meet me at The Pit. Tonight." I nod and keep walking. The Pit? What a name.. I walk towards the other Abnegation girl. I never actually introduced my self. How rude of me.
"I'm sorry. I never introduced myself. I'm Alice. "
"Tris" she responds. Tris. Interesting. After about 30 other people jump, everyone starts walking towards a place. This must be the Pit, Tobias was talking about.
"This is the Pit. One of the major hang outs of The Dauntless. You'll learn to love it." he says. "Over here is the chasm. Don't jump off it. It will be the end of you." People mumble. " My name is Four and that's Lauren. Lauren is the Dauntless-born trainer and I am the transfers trainer." My brother is now my trainer. Great.
" Wait. Four? Like the number?" Christina states
"Yes, like the number."
"What was one through three taken?"
Four walks up to her.
"What your name?" he whispers
"Christina."
"Well, Christina. If I wanted to hear from smart mouthed Candors, I would have joined their faction."
Damn....... Burn. " You should apply cold ice to that burn." I say to Christina. Everyone laughs.
"One thing you'll learn from me, is to keep your mouth shut." Tobias doesn't seem like the Tobias I knew 2 years ago. He's changed. I don't like it.
- 30 minutes later-
We all sit at a table. The Dauntless seem to throw a feast. The Abnegation would never do that. We all eat.
"What have you never seen a hamburger before?" Christina says to Tris. I laugh. " No, I've seen them before, I've just never ate one." They all talk to each other. I zone them out, something I taught myself a while ago. I see Tobias walk over to our table and sit down. He starts to eat.
" Were you a transfer," Tris asks. He just stares. " Or were you a Dauntless-Born?"
"What makes you think you can talk to me?"
I get up and leave. Even though the tour isn't over. I leave. I can't look at him anymore. He's changed. He's more rude than ever before. I want Tobias back. Not Four.
I walk for what seems to be miles. I stop. I want to cry but I don't. Instead I just look out the window. I'm not for Dauntless. I should have just chose Amity. But I didn't. I wanted to be with my brother. But he doesn't seem to care about the initiates. And now I'm just her.
I sit for about an hour. I see Christina. She walks to me. " There you are. You missed the rest of the tour." She says. "It's fine." I reply. " Four got worried. It was kind of odd, since he doesn't seem to like any of us." He got worried. About me? " Interesting."
" You should follow me."
And follow her I do. She leads me to a giant apartment with like thirty two beds. I guess we all sleep here. " If you love this. Your going to love the bathrooms." " Yippee" I respond to that with sarcasm. I sit on a bed and lay down. "You should get changed. There are clothes under your bed."
"Thanks. " When she leaves I grab the clothes under my bed. I quickly get changed. I don't want anyone to see the scars Marcus left me. Luckily no one does. I throw my hair into a ponytail and lay down.
" Five minutes." someone says. I'm not sure if its Tobias or Eric.
Five minutes later everyone is surrounding each other in this area we were lead to. Lined up are a bunch of dummies. " You will be training here for the next 17 days. Then at the end of the first part, the people that are under the red lines will be kicked out." Eric says "Kicked out?"
"Can't go back to your families so you will be Faction-less."
Why weren't we told that?"
"Yeah." Christina adds.
"Why? Because if you knew you wouldn't have joined? Well if that's what you would do then you can just leave." Everyone is quiet.
Before I know it, I am kicking and punching at a dummy. I'm doing a lot better than I thought I would. I smile and continue.
" First jumper," -Tris-" and last jumper," -Molly- " In the rink." Eric says.
Everyone crowds around the so called 'Rink'. Before I know it Molly is punching and kicking Tris. She tries to fight back but she doesn't. She can't. Before we know it, Tris is knocked out, on the floor.
Later, after training, the ranks for today are up.
"These, are the daily rankings, we will post it each day so you can see where you are."
I look at the bottom ranking, under the red line. I don't see my name. Feww... But I do see Tris'. I start looking at the top ranks...
15. Alice.
Fifteen? How could I be ranked fifteen? I was expecting something like 20, but to my surprise, I'm not.
~Later that day~
When everyone is asleep, I quickly go to the pit, where Tobias told me to meet him. To my surprise, I see him there.
"What did you need to tell me?" I say.
" What took you so long?" He replies.
" Answer my question."
" I need to ask you a question."
"What?"
"What were your test results?"
"Why do you need to know this?"
"Its extremely important. Answer my question."
"Fine. Abnegation" my voice gets high.
"I might not be Candor, but I can tell your lying."
"Ugh. Abnegation. And Amity. And Dauntless..." as I say each faction my voice gets lower.

A/N
Half way through writing this, I realized a few things were out of order. I didn't feel like erasing half of my writing so I kept it. Just pretend that they ate before changing into their Dauntless clothes.
Anyway. Hope you all enjoyed this short chapter.
Love y'all.
