Robert's P. O. V(surprise!)

I have searched and searched but came up with no leads to where Diana was. Once I arrived at the cottage and couldn't find her I thought one of my enemies captured her. She was a smart girl and as soon as I saw her clothes packed and  any kind of evidence gone I knew she left on her own accord.

"Boss shall we return to London." One of my men Arthur came  into the barn where I was sprawled out on a haystack watching one of my favorite horses King. He gave out a neigh as soon as Arthur spoke making me smile a bit. I took out my gun Diana bought me as a present last Christmas . Engraved on it was a quote, my favorite quote hell hath no fury. In the corner of my eyes I saw Arthur slightly flinch, scared.

"No. London is clustered, a few days off in the countryside would do us some good." I replied not bothered to look at him. I'm not a very talkative person especially now. Diana betrayed my trust and I bet as hell she knows it and she's terrified of what I will do when I find her .

Well Diana be scared, be very scared.

Diana's P. O.V

The men decided to spend some time in a typical 1700s bar which was a small well kept building. Claire and I weren't too keen on the idea since they spoke Gaelic all the time to exclude us from whatever they're  planning. How do I know they're planning something you may ask. Well it's not that hard to guess since they don't say a word in English and whenever we're around they whisper even if they speak Gaelic sending us secretive looks. If that isn't a red flag then I don't know what is.

" Emm why was Dougal screaming at you?" I asked, Claire smiled and her eyes lit up with amusement.

"I tried to steal a goat." She said trying not too giggle. Claire seemed so much more fun and less uptight after a little bit of whiskey.

"You tried to steal a goat?" I asked astonished repeating what she said and trying not to laugh. She must have drank more that a little bit to commit such a theft. Wonder why she wanted that goat. Don't judge me but the way I pictured her stealing it is quite funny. Where would she hide it? Under her dress.

"Well yes, a child needed milk and they were taking the goat away which supplied the family with milk so I couldn't just let the MacKenzie's take it away." She explained once we stopped laughing. Ned who wasn't too far ahead turned around and for the first time since we left castle Leoch looked at me. He gave me a kind smile and waited for us to catch up of course walking by Claire's side rather than mine. They must have formed a strong friendship huh?

"Ah yes, unfortunately these kind of things cannot be unavoidable you see the rent must be paid or else it's eviction which in my opinion is worse for the whole family could die of cold." He fixed his glasses while speaking very fast.

"What could be worse than the loss of a child ." I whispered to myself disagreeing with his statement whilst him and Claire continued a conversation of their own . Feeling as if I wasn't really welcome I walked ahead. I thought finding my sister and telling her the truth would solve all of my problems. Well I was sadly mistaken, yes we are sisters but we're far from close but what was I expecting....  we don't know each other at all. Hell hath no fury like the wounding truth. That's Robert's favorite quote. I still remember the smile on his face and the warmth of his hug once I gave him his Christmas present.

I was so deep in thought I haven't realised we arrived and I was already sitting down on a stool with Claire beside me. Ahead of us stood Dougal surrounded by men and us two. He spluttered out sentences in Gaelic and sounded angry. Isn't he always angry though.

The Scottish men and a couple of women seemed to be really concentrating on what he was saying. It was a serious matter he was talking about and now I wish I had a dictionary. I'm a very curious person and that might kill me someday. I feel like it's better to be informed rather than stay in the dark. I mean look what happened to all of these poor girls accused of being witches.

I myself even not knowing the language observed what was happening with great interest. Maybe I could catch out a thing or too even though my hearing isn't the best. Dougal stopped talking and then comes in Jamie, his nephew and my sisters current love interest which she doesn't admit she likes. Oh Connor if you were alive you'd stay up all night and listen to me rant about how stupid she is to not realise how her feelings have grown for that man . If Claire won't want to go back home I wouldn't blame her. I'd have to tell Frank I failed because it's not like I'm going to drag her away kicking and screaming if she'll end up happy and content here. I myself feel like I could stay in this century, it's much more fun despite  of the women are weaker than men and should be submissive wives concept. I'd beat any of these guys like I did Chihuahua and send them off crying because of their bruised ego.

"oh my God." I heard Claire gasp and I myself sat up straight no longer hunched over. Jamie kept looking ahead not blinking while his scarred back was revealed. I glanced at Claire wondering if she was disgusted and I saw nothing but worry. I myself wanted to march up to Dougal and show him what embarrassment feels like. Jamie didn't display any emotions but let Dougal rip his shirt off willingly.. He stood there while his uncle continued to speak to the crowd. All of them roared and one by one gave money to Ned and left the building . Only the people from the whole escapade stayed behind, talking amongst each other with smiles while Jamie felt like he wanted to be swallowed up by the ground.

"Claire do you know what's going on?" I asked but she didn't reply, fuming.

"Be a good lass. Get a needle and thread."Dougal lifted Jamies' ripped shirt making Claire stand up nearly knocking the stool over." Mend that."

Everything was a blur once Claire unleashed her verbal fury on Dougal which left Jamie even more embarrassed. He snatched his shirt back and with a clenched jaw looked at the door.

"I'll mend my own shirt."was all he said before rushing out of the building away from our eyes.
