Chapter 7

Celesta's Pov (I also changed the tense)

It's pitch dark. I can't even see my hand that's in front of my face.

"Puck?" I call out.

I am replied by silence. I don't feel the presence of any other living thing other then myself. I'm scared. I'm scared of being alone. No, don't leave me alone. I don't want to be alone, not in the dark, no!

A fire then beings to conger before my eyes. The flames surround me and I'm about to be engulfed by these flames. I then see human figures through the flames and they keep getting closer and close.

"No... Stop... Don't get any closer!" I scream and as I do so, I push my arms forward as a reflex and flames follow.

The flames are no longer surrounding me but are burning the human figures that were approaching me. I can hear their screams, their cries for help. I can also hear them shouting monster and as they do, a man carrying a baby runs straight through me.

"What? Who are you!?" I shout at the man.

He then stops running, turns at me and says,

"Wake up, Celesta. Wake up..."

I suddenly feel my whole body moving as if someone is shaking me. A light appears in the distance and I reach out to grab it and as I do, I see two familiar faces.

"Celesta! Wake up!" I hear someone shouting

As my opening eyes focus, I see Puck calling out to me and Mat shaking me. I then sit up quickly with widened eyes and observe my surroundings. I look at Puck and start crying. Puck just snuggles into me and I hug him tightly.

"I saw it again, that same dream but this time it was more real, I could feel the heat from the flames as they were surrounding me" I whispered to him as I quietly continued to sob in his fluffy white fur.

"It's ok, it's ok, it was just a dream," Puck reassures me.

Mat, who is starring at us stays quiet the entire time and patiently waiting for my tears to stop falling before asking any questions. As my tears fall less and less, I break my hold on Puck, wipe my tears and firmly ask,

"Ok, so what happened, last thing I remember was being carried on a mans shoulder, the rest is blank," Celesta explains, calming herself down.

Puck looks at me with sorrowful eyes and lowers his head in sham. I look at him shocked since I don't remember him doing anything to be shameful for.

"You lost control again because of me, and ended up getting drenched in water. After that, I failed to protect you again since I was knocked out. Mat told me he saw us and came to save us and brought us into the woods," Puck explains.

"That explains why I'm wet," I chuckle as I flick my hands in an effort to dry them.

I look Mat up and down, trying to figure him out.

"Why did you help us? You had no reason to," I question him with a cold look.

"Welp! Us Lunas have to help each other out, no?" He replies, not giving me the answer I expected.

"I'm not like you," I state, looking away from him as I struggle to get to my feet.

"Yes, you are. What just happened earlier confirmed it," Mat replies with a proud smile, like a kid who just received a gold star.

I climb onto Pucks back and stare Mat straight in the eye.

"I'm not like you humans and I never will be!" I state, raising my voice a little.

"Let's go Puck, I'm getting hungry," I tell Puck as I pet him to make him feel better since he was still feeling shameful for what happened.

Without another word, Puck and I leave Mat to his lone sum self and headed deeper in the woods to hunt for food.

Mats Pov

"I'm sure of it now, those men looking for her just confirmed my theory" I talk to myself as a sit cross legged on a tree trunk that has been cut down on the edge of the forest.

"I've finally found her... She's exactly as the prophecy for told," I continue as I sink into my thoughts.

*Flashback*

"There is a prophecy, that a girl with cherry blossom pink hair and sky blue eyes will be born with the Phenix Luna, the Luna that is born into this word only once every 1,000th year. And with this Luna she will be able to either cure earth of all evil or, she will be the evil that destroys this earth," grandpa says as he looks at all of us, waving his arms, trying to scare all us little kids.

None of the kids believe him, sure I didn't at first either, but the more I heard it, the more I felt as if it were true.

"This girl will be accompanied by a young white tailed fox," grandpa continues.

"For the girl to fully awaken the Phoenix Luna within her, she must first be able to control it. Then she must learn of her origins and the history of the Phoenix Luna and its users. Only then may she choose to either purify this earth and forgive us for our wrong doings or destroy this earth with more evil and more power then ever imagined," grandpa continued, making background noises to try to scare us even more.

"But you forgot about the traveler!" I enthusiastically added in.

"Hold on, hold on, I'm getting there" grandpa reassured me, patting my shoulder with a smile.

"But it's said, that a traveler from our village with a Rare Luna, will set out to look for this girl and help guide her down the path of purification. However, it is also said that a great evil force will try to obtain this power as his own and will set out to capture the girl and lead her down the path of destruction, " grandpa finished.

*End of flashback*

My dream was to be that traveler that leads her down the path to purification but I wasn't the only one who had this dream, all the other Rare Luna users from my village had the same dream and set out to find her just as I did, yet, it seems that I have found her first.

Also, I would like to clarify that Luna is the actual power they posses and Lunas is the name given to Luna users/possessors.
