Puck's POV
I wake up to the bright light emitting from the sun through the entrance of the cave. I try to block it out with my tail but something heavy is holding it down. I tense and quickly snap my head to my right to see what it was but relax instantly when I see Celest cuddled up into me and hugging my tail. Her sleeping face is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. She looks so relaxed and at peace that you would never guess she had a horrible past. Slowly and gently I remove my tail from her grip and struggle to get up on my paws without waking her. I grad a near by tattered blanket with my snout and place it on top of her in an effort to keep her warm but it was all in vein as she already awoke the moment I removed my tail. It can be very handy to be a light sleeper since it means she is always alert but sometimes I wish she would just let down her guard and have a peaceful sleep without worry.
"Where are you going?" She asks me, her voice low and cracking, her hair messy and her tattered cloths miss worn.
"I'm just going out to do my business, I'll be back soon so just go back to sleep, okay?" I lie, avoiding eye contact. I didn't really have to do my business, I wanted to confront, what's his face, about what actually happened yesterday and about how much he claims to know about Celest.
"Okay... don't take too long, it cold without you," she complains with her soft voice cracking as she just woke up.
"I'll try not to," I chuckle making my way out of the cave and dashing through the woods after I was sure she couldn't see me anymore.
I run full speed in the direction I smell what's his face is in and stop in my track after running for a good 10 minutes. I should have ran another 10 minutes to get to the boarder, were I EXPECTED to see whats his face but no. I meet him in the middle of the forest, way beyond the boarder and I instantly want to rip his head off.
"Oh, uhhh, hey there... I wasn't expecting you to be awake yet..." he greets me with a forced smile, like a kid who broke his mothers vase and is trying not to look scared.
Normally I wouldn't be awake at this hour. The sun is barely above the horizon and woods is dead silent with only the sounds of insects, while the animals are still in deep slumber.
"What are doing in the forest!" I growl at him, in an offensive stance.
"Hey hey! Seriously! You're still going to treat me like this even after I saved your's and Celesta's lives?!" Mark questions, raising his hands up in surrender while expecting some form of respect, instead receiving a louder growl from me.
"Look! I just wanted to tell ye that we have to go! Thanks to what happened yesterday, there will be hunters, bigger and stronger then the previous ones, on there way as we speak! We have to go now while we still can!" whats his face shouts at me, putting down his arms and looking me straight in the eye, with the most serious face I have ever seen plastered on his face.
"And why's that?" I question, expecting to get answers to the questions that have been swirling around in my head since meeting him.
"Because she's the one from the prophecy!! Of course now that someone knows she exists and where to find her, they're gonna want to capture her and use her for their own benefits!" Mat bursts out shouting and I can see the impatience in his eyes and the irritation in his voice.
I'm about to ask him another question before my ears snap to the direction of the cave as I barley make what I guess to be a scream. I unconsciously blurt out Celest's name before sprinting back to the cave. I think, whats his face, coped on to what was happening because I could see him following me at the corner of my eye but he wasn't in my sights for long as I was running faster then I ever did in my life. My head floods with thoughts of Celest and what could be happening and every thought just made me want to run faster and faster. When I finally reach the cave, what I see brings me to tears.

Hey guys! So ya, I just left that on a cliff hanger... its a little shorter then my previous chapters but since I published 2 chapters in one day I'm guessing ye will forgive me...right? xDD I'm hoping that the way I'm writing the story is improving with each chapter!
