OC: Valentina (Val) Westwoods
Face Claim: Sarah Hyland
Back-story:
Valentina had a rough childhood. She grew up to an abusive father who would hurt her mother everyday. Her father also kidnapped and raped women, then dumping their bodies in the river to get rid of evidence (basically a murderer). After her mothers suicide, she was left to deal with her abusive father alone but decided that she had enough and killed him. Because of the evidence found against him, she did not go through trial. She grew up after the incident realizing she felt no remorse towards his death and murder was the only thing on her mind. She checked herself into a facility to help her cure these tendencies and thoughts. She was diagnosed and labelled as a sociopath. She checked herself in at 15, she is now 22.
Plot:
John Murphy is an FBI agent who got a case about unsolved murders dating back to 40 years that recently made a comeback. He and his team are left to interview recent victims and profile the murderer but they can't get it quiet right. Realizing that the murders are similar to the Westwood Killer, he goes to interview Val about some actions her father adapted throughout the years of his murder. John lets the team locate her and find her in the facility. He pulls some strings and manages to get an interview with her, promising that he wouldn't show her any photos of the murder in case it spikes her sociopathic tendencies. Valentina refuses to have that interview, calling her father a murder and she wouldn't waste her time recollecting events from the childhood she spent years trying to forget. She asks them to leave.
The case goes cold for two weeks but then three bodies were located at different areas of the city. The three girls had disappeared five years ago and that week was the anniversary of their disappearance. John gets pressured to find the killer and goes back to Val. He begs her, bringing up the recent bodies found. She finally agrees and tells John about the few aspects her father developed. He would never remove his watch, never wore socks, always wore the same old gloves leaving the house, he'd be nicer coming back home after his hours of disappearance walking out that door, his boots would always be muddy, he would come back home with new gifts for her (a hair tie, a bow, a scarf, a bracelet, a necklace, pearl earring) . With these new traits, he goes to his team and presents a suspect. The suspect's family is interviewed and they finally have enough evidence to arrest him. The bodies and girls are all found in a warehouse. The bodies kept in freezers to "reserve" them and girls in a warehouse storage unit. John goes back to thank Val and asks her for coffee as a way of returning the favor.
After a couple of dates and months of dating, Val realizes she really likes him but she decided she should stop meeting with him because of her socipathic tendencies. When he confronts her about it, she tells him that she doesn't want to hurt him because she grew to love him so much and she's an actual sociopath who feels nothing, not even remorse over the murder of her father. He tells her that her father was a murder and he knows that she'd never hurt him because she just confessed to loving him. He mentions a few scenarios in which he could die and she sobs begging him to stop. He asks her why and she finally confesses that she couldn't imagine living without him. He tells her, "That's your reason to never give up on this. Because the thought of me getting hurt leaves you in tears. I know you won't hurt me in any way, physically anyways"
She finally has the courage to leave the facility, and gets a place with John and gets a Job. The nights were she gets nightmares about her father or her hurting John, he is right there comforting her and making sure she's alright.
You can add your own elements in the story. This is just a brief about John and Val's relationship. You can let Val have a friend in the facility and maybe expand on the relationship of John and his team beyond work. I just wanted to focus on the idea of how Val helped John with a case (or cases if you'd like)
A/N- This one has been around for a while but I hope you like the idea and use it up. You can add stuff in-between but this was the main structure for the story. Deciding to post this since I'll be gone for a week. BUT I WILL BE BACK SOON...........
