Travis watched as Rhaenys finished feeding her dragon. "How do they not kill you?" Travis asked her.i

"They've learned to respect their mother." Rhaenys answered.

"They see you as their mother?" Travis asked. Rhaenys nodded as she pet her dragon, she was on the dragon as it roared louder than a crowd of screaming men.

"I'm their dragon mother." Rhaenys said as she kept petting her dragon. "They kill when I command them to." She continued. A bit of fear ran through Travis. Her words repeated in his head for a few seconds. She had comeplete control over her dragons, it scared Travis a bit. The things she could do to others with her dragons were absolutely horrid.

"Your dragons seem interesting." Travis commented. A smirk appeared on her face "My family have been Dragon riders for hundreds of years." She said.

"Hundreds?! Your family must be dragon experts." Travis said.

"I guess we are, my father was the most skilled dragon rider, he was truly powerful." Rhaenys said.

"What happened to him? If you don't mind me asking." Travis said.

"Some say he fell off his dragon, some others say his dragon ate him, no one knows what truly happened to him." Rhaenys explained.

"What do you think?" He asked her.

"I think he's still alive, they never found a body so, I have hope." Rhaenys said. A part of Travis felt bad for what happened. What if her father wasn't alive? Would she never have hope for anything again?

"They presumed him dead?" Travis said, Rhaenys nodded.

"My brother was desperate to become King, I don't think he had anything to do with our father but, I think he's relieved that our father is gone."'Rhaenys said. "I'm a Bloodworth, I'm part of a famous family dynasty, things aren't so great as they seem." She continued.

"I understand how you feel, Rhaenys." He said. "I also got pressured to do and say things I didn't want to commit." Travis said. A smile appeared on Rhaenys's face, she was glad she wasn't the only with this problem. To be pressured and used.

Laurence's anger for Aphmau had decreased, Dante's death was on his mind now. He had lost a good friend, a friend he cared for. Garroth felt the same way, he missed Dante more than anything.

"I can't believe he's gone." Garroth said. Dante was his friend, a friend that didn't deserve to die at war.

"They say men die at war, but Dante wasn't a man he was a hero." Laurence said. He couldn't help but agree, Dante was a war hero.

"Where's Aphmau?" Laurence asked.

"She's at Scaleswind, visiting Dante's daughter, Nekoette." Garroth informed him. Laurence felt bad for Dante's daughter, she had lost both of her parents. Something that was truly horrible, no child had to go through that, especially at a very young age.

Laurence chugged down a glass of water and said "I'm going to round up some soldiers and train with them." Laurence stood from up from his chair and left the tent.

Leaving Garroth alone with his thoughts, not exactly a good idea. "What's Aphmau's next plan? To get us all killed?" Garroth said to himself, he hated the fact that everyone was dying just for her selfish reasons. One thing wouldn't leave his mind though. A few nights before, Aphmau and Garroth were together and they did something he never knew they'd do again.
