[Fallingsparkle's POV]

I watched after the two apprentices had been made warriors. It was nice to see them becoming warriors. We definitely needed some new warriors that were energetic. I was loosing my energy and I could see the other older warriors also losing their energy and will to fight.

I glanced out of the corner of my eye, and I saw my mate, Nightscare, and my son, Lightningstrike, walking toward me. I wondered what the two toms needed so I went to meet them halfway. They were my only family left anyways. I had to take care of them and make sure they didn't need anything.

"Yes? Am I needed for something?" I asked them curiously. They both had a blank expression which was rather hard to read.

"Why would we need you? There isn't anything special to do around the camp." Lightningstrike said with brutal honesty. His name suited him so well because his comments could hurt like lightning.

"Come on Lightningstrike, be nice to your mother." Nightscare said to the tom before turning to me. "We wanted to come and talk to you. Is that such a bad thing?" He asked me and nuzzled my cheek. I giggled softly and shook my pelt out.

"No, it isn't. I'm sorry I assumed you needed something. I thought that maybe I would be needed for a patrol or something like that." I told them not saying the complete truth.

I truthfully thought I broke a rule of the Dark Forest and they told my family to get me. They would be the ones to do that to me to make me break even more. They were evil, but I wasn't sure if they were that evil. I hoped they weren't at least.

"Good, do you want to do something or just stay in the camp?" Nightscare asked me softly. I had been staying in the camp since the Dark Forest took over. It might be a good thing to leave for a bit.

"I guess I'll leave for a bit. You two can decide what we are doing. I don't really care. I think it's a good idea to stretch." I said heading toward the entrance to the camp just expecting them to be following me. Thankfully when I did look back, they were close behind me.

"How about we just walk the territory? We can check for scents and just talk." Lightningstrike suggested to the rest of us. I nodded along with his idea and headed toward the point farthest from the camp and just strolled my way through the trees.

"Fallingsparkle, are you sure you are okay? You have been rather distant since the Dark Forest took over." Nightscare finally spoke up. I knew it. They did need something from me, but they weren't going to admit it right out of the gates.

"I'm perfectly fine. I don't know why you are all so worried about me." I huffed and padded slightly quicker.

"This was the first time we had asked." I could hear Lightningstrike mutter from behind me. I just flicked my tail in response and kept walking.
